HFC 17 in Review

HARDCORE, Fight Organization, New York
Company profile by Outlaw Bleak

                                                                      HFC 17- TRAGEDY VS ROCCA

Hello and welcome back ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls to the preview of yet another very exciting and highly anticipated event in our great organization, With me Matty Fernandez bringing to you all the information that you need of all of the brave warriors who will take to the cage to battle it out for glory to get one step closer to their respective dreams and therefore without much more delay let's take a look at what we have in store for you in the event.

(UNDERCARD BOUTS)

The undercard bouts for this event is mostly based on the strategy of giving all the fighters in the organization exposure to big events because although there might not be any big names fighting in the undercard, which should not be the case anyway, there are some very tasty looking matchups to look forward to so without any further delay let's take a look at them.

1. Animal Baldwin vs Fitz "The Schoolyard Bully" Miz (HEAVYWEIGHT BOUT [265 LBS])

Now this is a classic fight among two very contrasting style of fighters. One a standup fighter the other a submission artist, and that is exactly what makes this a very interesting fight to watch.

Animal Baldwin is a very decent submission artist with a good ground game who can definitely shake up some of the very top fighters in the division if you pure and simply fight him on the ground, but then when you stand up and fight with him well let's just say his striking is not good enough and therefore he will get KO'ed more often than not and therefore with a record of (3 wins and 3 losses) he will look to win this fight to slowly start his climb up the rankings once again.

Now Fitz Miz is a guy whose record when seen will tell you the story of his career so far really. He has never before won a fight in any organization of any sorts as all of his wins have come through QFC fights which really does not bode too for him or his career. But after losing his previous 2 fights in (HFC) and with a professional record of (5 wins and 5 losses) he will be desperate to win this fight to somewhat get some confidence back in himself that he can actually win fights and stop the massive downward trajectory that his career has been on recently.

~ PREDICTION: ANIMAL BALDWIN WINS VIA SUBMISSION (ROUND 2)

2. Hughie "Shug" McFee vs Trey "Devil Child" DeVell  (LIGHTWEIGHT BOUT [155 LBS])

So Hughie McFee, now where can i start with this guy, well let's start with this. He was a former (SMASH) (LIGHTWEIGHT) title challenger, but unfortunately he came out second best in the title fight and since then his career it seems like has simply fallen off a cliff, mind you he was (6 wins 0 loss) before the title fight but since then he has lost all 4 of his fights with some pretty atrocious performances down the line and therefore with a professional record of (6 wins and 4  losses) he will be desperate to get his career back on track with a win in this fight or he might be on borrowed time in the organization.

Now Trey DeVell is a relative newcomer to the sport of MMA and his professional record of (2 wins 1 loss) also does nothing to prove my statement wrong too, add to that this is probably going to be his first fight in a major organization, well he has got a lot of work cut out for him to impress the supporters and make a name for himself in this organization and therefore he will be looking to win this fight to start off his career at HFC in the best possible way and shut off many of his doubters who say that he is not good enough for HFC.

~ PREDICTION: TREY DEVELL WINS VIA UNANIMOUS DECISION (ROUND 3)

3. Darren " Afro Ninja" Lloyd vs Alexanderovski Volkan (LIGHT-HEAVYWEIGHT BOUT [205 LBS])

Darren Lloyd is a up and coming prospect in the organization who has got one of the most deadly ground game in the whole division. He has spent nearly all of his young career at HFC but he has not fought in an event for a fairly long time and therefore rustiness might kick in for him in this fight. But nonetheless with a professional record of (2 wins 2 losses) he will hope to win this fight to get back to winning ways after his disappointing defeat in his previous fight and build momentum to break into the rankings in the future.

His opponent, Alexanderovski Volkan is a completely different style of fighter compared to him. Volkan is a standup specialist as he is a great boxer but in his defence of his grappling i would say he is a decent wrestler too, but after losing his HFC debut his career has stagnated a bit and with both the wins in his career coming in QFC fights people have been quick to question about his spot in HFC and therefore with a professional record of (2 wins and 1 loss) he will be hoping to win this fight to prove to everyone as well as himself that he is more than capable of fighting in a major organization like HFC.

~ PREDICTION: DARREN LlOYD WINS VIA SUBMISSION (ROUND 1)

4. Jake Demuss vs "The Dark One" Brown Down (HEAVYWEIGHT BOUT [265 LBS])

For a guy who has such lethal striking and a fantastic standup game Jake Demuss has massively underperformed in his career. Add to that he has not fought in HFC after its merging with SMASH, it paints for a real grim picture for him and therefore he is now trying to make up for lost time as a result he is always on the back foot trying to catch up to his own potential. So with a professional record of (2 wins 2 losses) he will be desperate for a win in this fight as he knows this might be a make or break fight for him in terms of resurrecting his career once again.

Now if you think the part above is grim think again because Brown down is a outstanding boxer who has a professional record of (0 wins 2 losses) yeah, you've seen it right. Now this guy is young and very talented but he has also not been active for a pretty long time which is rather concerning for young fighters. And so he might be desperate too but i will say that he absolutely needs to win this fight no matter what otherwise, his future here in HFC might be coming under serious scrutiny.

~ PREDICTION: JAKE DEMUSS WINS VIA TKO (ROUND 2)

5. Dmitry " Maz" Mazanov vs Toson "Ghost" Yada (LIGHT-HEAVYWEIGHT BOUT [205 LBS])

Dmitry Mazanov is a boxer and also a newcomer to the sport. In his two fights up until now in his career he has a professional record of (1 win 1 loss) with the loss coming against a top #5 ranked fighter currently in Dillion Van Barle and therefore we should not judge him by that because he is simply not ready for the big fights quite yet ,but now he has got another shot of breaking into the top #10 with yet another big fight for him personally and therefore he will be hoping to win this fight to finally break into the top #10 in the second time of asking and finally show everyone why he is so highly rated by the organization.

Now Toson Yada is a submission artist who probably is the most skillful fighter on the ground in regards to the LIGHT- HEAVYWEIGHT division. At one point of time in probably the last event of HFC before merging with SMASH he won the LIGHT-HEAVYWEIGHT title in a thrilling encounter which made people take notice of him till a certain point of time as that title fight somehow ended up becoming his last fight until this one and therefore after such a long break he will once again have to start from scratch and so he will be looking to win this fight to once again build up his reputation among the public slowly and also take baby steps towards yet another title fight in the future.

~ PREDICTION: TOSON YADA WINS VIA SUBMISSION (ROUND 1)

(MAIN CARD)

At this time, i always say the same thing and therefore why make today any different. So guys the time for the fun and games is over and now it's time for the big boys to step foot inside the cage and give you guys exactly what you have been waiting for this entire time so, here, we, go!

6. Jorge "The Python" Galvao vs Nate "BMF" Masvidal (MIDDLEWEIGHT BOUT [185 LBS])

Jorge Galvao is a submission specialist who has spent all of his career fighting in HFC and SMASH. He has a fantastic ground game which can match anyone in HFC but just like any grappler his weak point is when you try and box with him and when you start using your muay thai because he simply does not have it in him to out strike any opponent no matter who he is and therefore with a professional record of (3 wins and 2 losses) he will be absolutely desperate to win this fight to start moving in an upward trajectory in his career once again and hopefully break into the top #10 in the near future.

Now Nate Masvidal is a pure boxer and striker who had a flying start to his career which resulted in him being one of the top ranked fighters of SMASH, but then like most people with a promising start to their careers his too fell off a clif which resulted in him going on for a 3 fight losing streak which was finally broken in his last fight. And therefore with a professional record of (5 wins and 3 losses) he will be looking to win this fight to continue his winning run and potentially get a top #10 opponent next up.

~ PREDICTION: NATE MASVIDAL WINS VIA TKO (ROUND 1)

7. Kuuri "Ku-San" Sandro vs Tashiro "Sugar" Sugawara (LIGHT-HEAVYWEIGHT BOUT [205 LBS])

When you look at Kuuri Sandro you would see a blend of a good wrestler and a good MUAY THAI artist but you really will not find anything special in him to be really honest. His career has had some up and downs throughout with the ups being the win over kordell harris and there are plenty of lows to choose from so that does not count as a result he has never really settled in the organization as a established fighter due to his unpredictable career path and therefore with a professional record of (3 wins and 4 losses) he will be absolute desperate to win this fight to finally kickstart his career in HFC the right way once and for all.

A former (CORE COMBAT) LIGHT-HEAVYWEIGHT champion, Tashiro Sugawara was expected to do some special things in HFC after joining them but has since failed to live upto his expectation to a certain point because although he managed a good win against  Daryl Lloyd in a fight, but he has also lost his title in HFC and in his previous fight against a top ranked fighter in the division, he simply did not turn up for the fight and subsequently lost it.But with his fantastic ground game and a professional record of (3 wins and 2 losses) he will be looking to win this fight to stay in  contention for another shot at a potential top #5 ranked LIGHT-HEAVYWEIGHT fighter in the near future.

~ PREDICTION:  TASHIRO SUGAWARA WINS VIA SUBMISSION (ROUND 1)

8. "The Anaconda" Henri Kirchen vs Kirill "Shan" Semenov (HEAVYWEIGHT BOUT [265 LBS])

Now this is nothing else but a straight up title eliminator fight to determine the next challenger to Lynch Boshank fot the HEAVYWEIGHT title.

Henri Kirchen is a outstanding Wrestler who has a decent ground game in him to aid him for the submissions on the ground. He was formerly fighting in (island season 10) but he knew that he was better than that and therefore he made his big move to HFC and in his previous fight which was also his HFC debut he won his fight against a top ranked fighter in the HEAVYWEIGHT division which catapulted him towards the #2 spot in the rankings and therefore now going towards probably the biggest fight of his career up to date Henri with a professional record of (4 wins and 1 loss) will look to win this fight to book his spot as the no #1 contender for the title and subsequently earn a title shot in his next fight.

Now Kirill Semenov's case is the exact opposite of his opponent as he is a boxer, a very good one to be exact who has had a very steady career up to date add to that he is also the current no #1 contender to the title well, life can't get much better, but it all could have gone horribly wrong as when he first signed for HFC there was massive hype surrounding him so much so that he got a top #5 ranked fighter in his debut fight here. But then he was brought back to reality as he lost that fight, but then he started to realise that it was not going to be easy sailing in this organization whatsoever which resulted in him working even harder in train and as a result in his second fight against another top #5 contender he simply outclassed his opponent and hence he is the no #1 contender at this present time. So he will be looking to win this fight to once and for all book his spot in the title fight which will happen at some point in the near future.

~ PREDICTION: HENRI KIRCHEN WINS VIA SUBMISSION (ROUND 2)

(CO-MAIN EVENT)

Here it is people we have finally arrived to the penultimate fight of this evening which features two of the very best fighters and top #10 ranked HEAVYWEIGHTS in HFC currently and therefore without further adieu let's take a look at them.

9. Jack "Captain" Sparrow vs Keon "Pound Dog" Douglas (HEAVYWEIGHT BOUT [265 LBS])

Now Jack Sparrow is a very interesting fighter to look at really because when you look at his professional record of (5 wins and 2 losses) you might feel like yeah, he has actually won some fights. But the truth of the matter is that he has never really fought with an absolute top level fighter at the peak of his ability as he has mostly fought guys around or just below him and therefore when his first real big test came in his previous fight with Kirill Semenov he failed the test and lost the fight which ended up costing him a few places in the rankings and therefore he will look to win this fight to get back on the winning track and restart his climb towards a future title shot once again.

Now Keon Douglas is predominantly a boxer and a wrestler who has a professional record of (4 wins and 1 loss). His career started with an absolute bang and with four victories on the trot he was considered one of the best prospects for the future but then in his previous fight against a top #5 ranked opponent his career came to a stagnating halt as he lost in most probably the biggest fight of his short career so far and therefore he lost out an opportunity to be the no #1 contender to the title. So he will be desperate to win this fight to get back to winning ways and climb up the rankings towards his dream title shot.

~ PREDICTION: JACK SPARROW WINS VIA SUBMISSION (ROUND 2)

(MAIN EVENT)

So finally after a night of some crazy fights we have once again arrived to the the fiight you all have been waiting for live from the sold out Hayashi's lounge in Rio Di Janiero {BRASIL} its time for the main event of the evening.

10. Trage "Edy" Tragedy vs Rancid "Reno" Rocca (MIDDLEWEIGHT BOUT [185 LBS])

Now when you see a guy who is very good in the ground and not too good in the standup or vice-versa you always start to think what if he had both the ground game as well as the striking game, how dangerous he would be, well folks forget dreaming or thinking because in Trage Tragedy we have got one of the most well balanced fighters in terms of skills that we have seen in HFC for quite a while. This guy has literally got everything from striking to submission everything. But unfortunately that did not come to his rescue in his previous fight which was a title fight where he was sadly humiliated in the very first round as he got Knocked out, and therefore with a professional record of (10 wins and 2 losses) he will look to win this fight to put his defeat in the previous fight well and truly behind him and look upwards again towards another title shot in the near future.

As far as his opponent is concerned, Rancid Rocca is yet another very balanced, very well rounded fighter in this MIDDLEWEIGHT division although not as highly skilled as Trage Tragedy though, but he is a former (BLOODBATH FIGHTING CHAMPIONSHIP) MIDDLEWEIGHT title challenger who has got a professional record of (9 wins and 3 losses). He has got a problem of not turning up for the big fights in his career which was pretty evident in his previous fight with top ranked Roona Chooga and his title fight in BFC and therefore there have been some people who  have started to question his spot in the top #5 of the rankings for some time now and therefore he would want to win this fight to once and for all shut down all his doubters and get on step closer to that title shot that he has been dreaming of throughout his time at HFC.

~ PREDICTION: TRAGE TRAGEDY WINS VIA TKO (ROUND 3)

SO THIS WILL BRING US TO THE END OF YET ANOTHER EXCITING ROUND OF FIGHTS HERE IN HFC

HOPE YOU GUYS ENJOYED THE PREVIEW AND

UNTIL NEXT TIME HAVE STAY SAFE AND HAVE A GREAT DAY
