Convicted Fight Club Prospect #3

Fighter profile of Scooter Lebowski by Chris Karter

CONVICTED FIGHT CLUB PROSPECT #3:
SCOOTER LEBOWSKI
0-1

Freshman Wide Receiver at Arizona State University. Student athlete balancing out collegiate football career and MMA training. He didn't go to college to play school.

- Product of Convicted Fight Club
- BJJ Blue Belt under Ben Stone
- Consummate professional, but likes to party too

Currently attends Arizona State University on a football scholarship; highly sought after 3-star Wide Receiver from Phoenix, it was a big win for the Sun Devils to land the local recruit over cross-town rival University of Arizona Wildcats and conference foe UCLA Golden Bruins.

Scooter lacks a lot of things; the size and genetic coding of your stereotypical NFL Wide Receiver, the vertical leaping ability of your typical basketball player, but he doesn't lack confidence. He was so confident in his ability as a fighter that he made his professional debut days after his 18th birthday within a day of ever stepping into an MMA gym. He showed up Monday and fought before Thursday. Pure balls!

He lost in 0:31 seconds.

He was tapped out by a BJJ Brown belt that was a 1-0 pro fighter and 7 years his senior. Most fighters would be down in the dumps after being submitted so quickly in the first round, but not white belt Scooter. Scooter popped to his feet after tapping to an arm triangle with a smile on his face.

SCOOTER

"Woo! You see those hands?"

He proclaims before rambling for the next few hours about the 3 punches he landed before the TD. He may have lost the fight, but he gained love for the game, and displayed enough pop in his punches and the right mentality to be invited back to Convicted Fight Club.

He drives from Tempe, Arizona to Los Angeles, California to train at Convicted Fight Club and currently has a blue belt in BJJ under BJJ black belt Ben Stone. He's a much more well rounded fighter than he was in his premature debut, and his camp is excited for him to put his skills on display. They predicted a first round KO for the future MW champion and he proved them right when he finished Carlos Calderwood in 0:40 seconds in the first round.

Now he's scheduled set to fight "Demon" Rod De Minaur (1-1) on an event TBA.
