Born into a small family in Sydney Maxwell took on sports as the athletic person in the family. He took on boxing but was terrible at it, Boxing was a big thing in the family having his father be a former Middle weight champion Oliver Hollins that passed away at 34 due to a car crash. Later after boxing he saw posters of a MMA fight, He went home and watched videos on MMA fights. Later he fell in love with it training by a Wrestling Combat gym close to school. He fought with amateur record of 24-7 finishing at the age of 16, He made his pro debut flying to a Island for a fight. As he had all eyes on him he did it as simple as he can.
