          CW MMA: WAR - PREVIEW

                                             21 Nov, 2020 - Helsinki (20:00 GMT)

-------------------------------------------------  UNDER CARD ----------------------------------------

1) Gary Bellamy (3-1) v Mario Thomas (4-1) (Lightweight Bout [155 LBS])

Bellamy is a boxer with an impressive early career, with some decisive knock outs. He looks to prefer fighting at range, as he seems to have had troubles in his last fight landing shots from inside the clinch. He has a decently well rounded skillset.

                                                                 VS

Thomas, also a boxer, seems to be more of an endurance fighter. He goes the distance in every match. He has a granite chin and can wrestle definsively.. He has yet to finish an opponent, but may be able to outlast Bellamy tonight. Both fighters are trying to redeem themselves from a loss.

(Prediction Bellamy via KO)

2) Edward Grubbs (0-0) v Hallbjorn Hjorturson (1-0) (Middleweight Bout [185 LBS])

Grubbs  is an unknown Muay Thai artist.  This will be the first professional fight for Grubbs.

He has a Strong Muay Thai skillset with some BJJ, and a very experienced manager. He will likely be looking to get into the clinch and work from there.

                                                                  VS

Hjorturson has proven his knock out Power in his QFC debut. He also has a good chin, as he took 3 head kicks in the first 2 minuts of the fight and shrugged them off.. He is looking to improve his 1/0 record this evening and solidify his name as a contender in the organization.

(Prediction Grubbs via TKO)

3) Clark Gorzecki (0-0) v eL IsoG (0-0) (Middleweight Bout [185 LBS])

Gorzecki is an unknown fighter with some exceptional Wrestling. His manager is also very experienced and knows how to train a fighter, so this is really the only thing going for the bookies on this fight.. I am looking at this guy and getting a ground and pound vibe, due to his limited BJJ experience.

                                                                  VS

IsoG is a Boxer who showed some very well rounded skills in his last fight - which by the way, ended in a Draw.. This had to leave a bad taste in IsoG's mouth, so he's surely going to come in with all he's got for this fight. He will have his takedown defense and grappling tested here.

(Prediction -- Gorzecki via TKO)

4. Minoari Amida (1-0) v Leevi Saros (0-0) (Middleweight Bout [185 LBS])

Amida is an extremely talented Muay Thai fighter, who ended his first career fight with a brutal head kick only 33 seconds into the fight.. I wan't to see more of what this guy can do! 33 Seconds wasn't enough! I'm sure he is eager to show us more.

                                                                  VS

Remember that Draw we were just talking about? Saros is the other half of that fight.. He is a boxer, and a damn good one. From what we saw in his last fight, he is also well rounded and makes use of everything in his repertoire. His chin will be put to the test though against Amida's legs.

(Prediction -- Amida via KO)

5. Mike Quackenbush (3-1) v Dustin Sleeth (1-0) (Lightweight Bout [155 LBS])

Sleeth has 1 QFC bout that saw lots of clinchwork action and some submissions. He Mmay want to make use of his superior Muay Thai and standup for this fight, as his opponent has the better BJJ and will no doubt be looking to take this to the ground.

                                                                  VS

Quackenbush has an impressive string of 3 dominant victories, and only one defeat by decision, all in the QFC. He uses the clinch as doorway to takedowns. He was dominated in the clinch in his last fight, so hopefully he has improved his game in that area.

(Prediction Sleeth via TKO)

-----------------------------------------------   MAIN CARD   ------------------------------------------

6) Ivan Pustansky (2-0) v William Gray (1-0) (Middleweight Bout [185 LBS])

Pustansky is a Muay Thai fighter who lives in the clinch. His razor sharp elbows rain down on his opponent and turn them into a bloody mess. His last win came by TKO due to cuts.. What more can I say? .. Yikes..!

                                                                  VS

Gray's first fight was a win by decision. It didn't look like he really found a groove, but he just went with it.. Some fighters work best that way. All that matters is he went the distance and got the W. Both of these fighters are undefeated, so one of them will take their first taste of the bitterness of defeat.

(Prediction -- Pustansky via TKO)

7) Rod Farva v Vladimir Kchzzvkofsky (Heavyweight Bout [265 LBS])

Farva  is a wrestler with a BJJ background. He has an undefeated 1 and 0 record, with a  submission victory via Kimura in the first round. He would definitely like to see this fight go to the ground as his opponent looks to have some standup skills.

                                                                  VS

Kchzzvkofsky is an unknown wrestler with some respectable boxing. He apparently has a popular youtube channel where he exposes fake martial artists. There isn't much known about this fighter, but his manager is well established in the sport.

(Prediction Kchzzvkofsky via KO)

8) Floki Magnusson (2-0) v Maverick Diaz (0-0) (Heavyweight Bout [265 LBS])

Magnusson is a Muay Thai fighter, with equally impressive wrestling skills. His last fight gave us a nice showing of his clinch game, and ended up knocking out his opponent with some nasty knees. Magnusson is looking to keep his undefeated status against an up and coming Maverick Diaz.

                                                                   VS

Diaz is an unknown fighter thus far. He has some strong boxing, and a blue belt in BJJ. His fighting style isn't really clear yet, but I expect to see some fighting from range to stay clear of Magnusson's clinch. Hey may have a better shot getting this fight to the ground, unless hes hiding some heavy hands and is able to get the KO.

(Prediction -- Magnusson via TKO)

------------------------------------------------- CO-MAIN EVENT -------------------------------------

Nobunaga has a proven track record of 3 submission victories and only 1 loss by decision. He has never been finished in his professional career. With a brown belt in BJJ, and a strong wrestling game to complement it; you can be sure that his ground game is top notch. His last fight was a grappling match for the ages. He came up just short in that fight, so he will be looking to redeem himself tonight against Rakosi.

                                                                    VS

Rakosi is a boxer who finished his debut fight with a big knock out only 35 seconds into the fight! This man has some dangerous hands, and also has some respectable wrestling experience. No doubt, Rakosi will want to keep this fight standing and put the lights out on Nobunaga before he's taken down. I think he will want to avoid using his wrestling tonight against this opponent.

 (Prediction -- Nobunaga via Submission)

------------------------------------------------- MAIN EVENT ---------------------------------------

Dawn is an undefeated BJJ Artist, with 5 wins in the QFC all coming by a different submission! Dawn loves to show off his skills, and I can't wait to see what he's got for us here. His last fight was almost finished with ground and pound strikes, but he changed his mind at the last second, and went for the triangle choke instead to keep things consistent. Though, he's never faced a seasoned opponent like Crazy Legs before.. It should be a very good grappling match.

                                                                     VS

Legs is another BJJ Artist, with a fantastic ground game. He has a total of 3 victories, 2 of them by way of submission.  His last fight, won by unanimous decision; was a back and forth submission game that had both fighters grabbing at arms and legs for 15 minutes straight. he is now looking to end Dawn's winning streak, and solidify himself as a top contender in the division. In terms of skill these two fighters are almost even, though Legs' morale seems to still be recovering.

(Prediction -- Legs via Submission)
