Sucker Punch Pro Series 37
Hey everybody out there in Sucker Punch land, I’m Hare Rumpler and I’m all set to take a look back at our action earlier this weekend at Sucker Punch Pro Series 37 over at Hard Knocks – Sydney! As always, I’ll be joined here in the booth by my pal and analyst Donkey “Dan” as we run through all the action, see how things turned out and Donkey will let us know how this affects the guys going forward. We also have Suzy Sucker Punch, our fantastic media correspondent, with us again this evening as several of our fighters and managers have had things to say following these fights!
A bit of a down event ratings wise, especially for a weekend, which was probably indicative of the lack of prep by quite a few of the fighters in the early bouts. It was also a result of no title on the line as well, to be fair. However, the up side for our fans was that there were quite a few good (T)KO finishes and only two Decisions on the night!
Due to the lack of prep for a few guys, we did set a few folks free after this event, which is only fair considering the impact and the relative lack of success coming from their camps. We’ll probably continue to do that over the next month as we cull out some of the less prepared fighters and strengthen the divisions overall.
