Dillon - Pt. 2

Fighter profile of Dillon Hardman by Outlaw Bleak

When we last reported to you, Dillon Hardman was introduced as the black sheep, the outcast, the bad boy.  Twin brother of the goody two-shoes Wesley Hardman.  In their first professional fight, they fought each other in a 3 minute sparring match.   Wesley got the best of the exchange according to the judges, but we saw the granite chin that Dillon has and we may finally get to see that chin in action in the coming weeks as the LOM tournament advances along and seeding is sorted.

While Wesley has already had another fight in the cage (another decision), his brother Dillon has been hitting the gym hard.  "He's like a sponge, that one is." - Patrick Harmartia.   "He's a physical specimen, that's for sure.  He's much more quick and agile than most guys at his level.  He is much stronger than he looks.  And he uses that physique to enhance his skills." - Leon Salazar.

When speaking to his manager, J. W. Hardman, who doubles as his uncle in his off time, J.W. was short and to the point.  "He's going to be something special, just wait and see." - J.W. Hardman.  It's hard to disagree if you watch him in the gym.  But the small sample size we've seen from him in the cage leads us wanting more.  Camp Hardman patiently awaits to find out who their first round opponent is going to be.  So far, Team Hardman is 3-0 and likes their chances in their 4th match.  Dillon would be the 5th match, but seeding won't be set until after the upcoming 4th round.

"Once we have an idea of who we're facing in the first round, we can really work on a gameplan and focus our training to that end.  But for now, it's kind of nice just working on our game.  Working on Dillon's technique where he's already well versed, but also training some other areas of his game that could be seen as a weakness.  It's just nice to have the flexibility to train as we want.  But next week, it's crunch time." - Sato Matisuki.

Well, there you have it folks.  From several of the coaches working one on one with Dillon, to his uncle and manager, J.W. Hardman.  There's a lot of confidence surrounding Team Hardman in this LOM tournament, and no shortage of confidence from Dillon to continue that success.  We tried to catch Dillon for a comment, but he was in a sparring session and we were told that he said he'd have an interview after his fight.  So I guess until then, catch ya on the flip side!
