Q. Noel Diaz. 8 fights. 8 victories by way of submission. Two division title holder. Pound for Pound the greatest on the Island. Ranked 22 in the world in your weight class. You are on top of the world my man. Talk to me about what it feels like to be you right now!
I’m the best! Honestly it was not so difficult, the other so-called fighters on the Island are just pussies who like to flex their muscle and act tough. You just have to treat’em like bitches.
Q. You are now training at the Island Project, originally I believe you were at Tez's stand and bang. What made you make the switch?
Tez’s got too crowded for my taste. Island Project is small and the coaches can really focus on you. And I brought Kazuo Takashi with me, to keep my bjj sharp.
Q. Your first fight, and fastest fight at 35 seconds, saw a rating of 100% when you pulled Lumihi into gaurd and tapped him out. Did you know after that fight that you would be on the path to stardom?
Honestly I started fighting because I needed the cash. Now I just want more of that.
Q. Joe, Shields, Joe are three of your toughest opponents to date. Despite the three fighters taking a similar approach in their style against you, you had managed to get the victory over each of them. Out of those three matchups which was your most difficult and which would you not mind facing again if the oppurtunity presented itself?
I think that bitch-ass wrester, Shields, was the most annoying of the bunch. I subbed that bitch! Probably I won’t fight any of them soon because I plan to go up in weight and grab my third belt. You hear me – I said the fucking third belt man!
Q. What is it like trianing with Takashi and Damian on a regular basis?
Who the fuck is Damian? Takashi is a great guy. I does his Japanese shits but I like his samurai-attitude. He’s a great grappler and he likes weed too so that’s great.
Q. You had four fights at bantamweight before you moved to featherweight. You have now had four fights at featherweight. Are you planning on moving to lightweight or do you feel your best at featherweight?
Lightweight is the way. I have a message for Ed Green: you suck! You hear me bitch-ass, I’m coming for you belt too!
Q. Which division would you consider to be the toughest and most competitive division in all of Highland for an individual fighter to compete in?
Don’t know. I don’t care about the division in which I’m not competing.

Q. This run of the island is starting to come to an end. What are, if any, your plans for the future?
Keep fighting for Highland. Get a bigger share of the pie. Spend the money, get a house, a vehicle and weeds. Maybe I’ll built a fucking gym in my house!
