HFC weekend Preview

Editorial by Tycoon Judas

It's a big world after all, whomever said it was small was smoking crack! HFC 90 & 91 are a HUGE example of it as the big boys of Hardcore are on the Main Stage this weekend at Madison Garden Arena.  First off at HFC 90 the Main Event will pit a potential #1 contender contest as Crusty Bigg faces Joe Krutel.  Hfc 91 will conclude the weekend with a very anticipated Heavyweight Title fight between the Champion Leif Leifsson as he collides with a returning HFC fighter in the likes of Viktor Babinski whom has made quite a name for himself outside the HFC. There is so many great matchups this weekend though its not just about the big boys, so lets take a look at some of the Main Cards for both events!

HFC 90              Featherweight Division              Jewel Diaz    vs    Cleon Wright                         Jewel "The Lost Brother" Diaz had some championship experience in his early career apturing the F & BE  and SMASH LW titles.  When he signed with HFC though he moved to Featherweight where he still fights today compiling a 6-5 record here. Diaz has insane Ground n Pound abilities with a elite wrestling background.  The majority of his (T)KO victories have came from his Ground and Pound but he can also end your night on the feet if need be,.    Cleon Wright is also a former Champion of GDL, in fact he is a three time FW champion with that org.  Cleo "The Warrior" Wright is a Striker, winning 7 out of his 10 victories by way of (T)KO. One Key note on Wright is he has proven to Avenge his losses in the past,  as he did in GDL not once but two times, both of which rewarded him with Title Regains. This will be Cleon's HFC debut and this will be a huge test in his career going forward.                   Middleweight Division              Chip Nickel    vs    Kotaro Kikuta                       "The Scoop" is back, and the former two time HFC Middleweight Champ looks to be gearing up for another run at the belt. Chip has notable wins over Sabotage Rex and Ademaro Dos Anjos, but one fighter who has seemed to have his number has been Baruto Tonissaar who was Chips latest fight. All three of Nickes  fights with Tonissaar though have been highly competetive though, winning them both "FOTN" Bonuses all three times. I just wonder where is that Chip Nickel Killer at that once was a feared commodity in the HFC?   With that said he faces Kotaro Kikuta another fierce striker whom has whom has lived and died by his sword. Kikuta has finished all of his professional victories whic have tallied up to 9 in total. A Kyoto, Japan native, Kotaro is a veteran of BBFC and Checkmate and recently made his HFC debut at HFC 83 in a loosing effort. The fight though was impressive none the less as he nagged himself a Performance bonus with his efforts. My personal opinion is this fight could be a wake up call for young Kotaro and a little time off to polish up his skills is not a bad option.           Light Heavyweight Division Xmus Jaxon Flaxon Waxon    vs  Ralph McGuire     Well, well, well as the former owner of Madness MMA(350K) this next fight has my attention!   Xmus JFW has won 6 of his last 7 fights here at HFC and is inching ever so close to a well deserved first time shot at the belt. This former Inaugural Cast member of the League of Madness is an absolute killer as of late and has punched out 12 of his career wins via (T)KO finish. After starting his career with Randall McSweeney, Xmus and now manager Nicholas Bowers have seem to found  a winning gameplan after a rough start together. Now in a pivotal spot in his career Waxon will meet his toughest opponent to date.   He will meet a fellow LOM cast member in fact in the likes of the Runner up Ralph McGuire.  McGuire has had a stellar HFC career so far as a former two time Division champ at Light Heavyweight.  He has had 3 fight wars with both KVDB and Maxim Jahouli in the past but the future is still bright for Ralph as a win here will put him in a Title eliminator for the soon to be Vacant 205 pound title.  Ralph has a high level skill set and will never be a easy win so if your gonna beat McGuire you best bring your A+ game. Its a bit of a surprise that these two former LOM fighters have  never fight but it will go down this weekend!                        Lightweight Division          Ziggy Stardust   vs    Juodasis Vaidouklis                        The Co-Main Event should be electric, as two rising 155 pounders meet.   Ziggy Stardust was the Last known Lightweight champion of BBFC and after a loss in his HFC debut to Nati Pisswater, Ziggy has gotten back on track  with his "KOTN" Performance against Rebel Smith at HFC 82. Stardust has finished 10 out of 11 of his wins via (T)KO and the Starman now has 4 Performance bonuses in his cabinet.  The Pisswater loss was the first loss in his young career and though he has beaten some top notch competition his opponent this weekend is gonna put him to the test.   Juodasis Vaiduoklis is yet another top shelf striker here at HFC , winning 8 of his 10 previous wins via (T)KO. This Lithuanian contender has seemed to always get himself one win away from a title fight but fall short. Now on a two fight win streak over two game opponents, Vaidouklis is looking to take his fight career to the next level. Juodasis is a long time pupil of Esiah Xavier who has bid farewell to the Business recently. So with that said this Youngster is now looking for new Management so get after it folks!                Heavyweight Division              Crusty Bigg     vs      Joe Krutel                         The Main Event for HFC 90 has title implications written all over it.   Crusty Bigg "Bang"  returns to the HFC cage after a devastating debut last month where he KO'd the former Island Beast Chief Red Eagle with a Deadly Head Kick. This was his second Head Kick Ko of his career and 13th KO finish, a legit Muay Thai Specialist is the Bigg "Bang". Now in his second fight here at HFC Bigg will tangle with a fighter he is very familiar with, as Crusty's most recent defeat was at the hands of his opponent this weekend. Crusty looked good in round one of there first bout as he seemed to be ahead on the score cards. Round two though he met his maker.   Joe "Moneymaker" Krutel is a former BBFC Heavyweght Champion whom made a big splash here in his HFC debut with a TKO win over Imperial Washington. Now 8-1 as a pro, Joe now sets his sights on the HFC Heavyweight Title. Krutel is a Dynamic Striker who has won 7 of his 8 MMA victories by way of (T)KO, one of which was his BBFC title  capturing performance against Santas Bitch. Now he meets a foe he already has a win over in Crusty but at Heavyweight you can never take a opponent lightly especially one that has a solid managerial team like Mr. Bigg.                                                    HFC 91                   Light Heavyweight Division                Tom Tomson     vs     Ronaldo Gomes                          Tom Tomson is a known striker as seen in his previous MMA bouts as he has finished all 5 of his victories by way of (T)KO. One of those wins by the way was over a top Heavyweight contender in Yago Nascimento quite a notable win if i do say so myself. But what is intriguing about Tom is his Grappling abilities the guy is a top notch grappler with quite the resume in grappling as he holds a 16-7 record in that field. He now looks to devote himself to MMA and make a run in this jam packed Light Heavyweight Division.   Standing in the other corner is a legit BJJ black belt in the name of Ronaldo "Jacare" Gomes. Gomes used his superior Jiu Jitsu to rally off 6 straight victories in MMA, and he also holds a 3-2 grappling record. Back at HFC 57 though the fans saw a whole different fighter who looks to be evolving his stand up as he finished Ivan Isqueirdo with a Superman Punch KO, the finish also earned him a "KOTN" bonus. With only one loss on his record at the hands of most recent 205 champ KVDB(No Shame in that) Ronaldo looks to put his dual threat abilities to the test.                     Middleweight Division Chanthaphone Southanouvong  vs    BWGA                                 One time SMASH Middleweight champion "The Phoenix" is looking to get some momentum going after his one punch KO of Shane Stead at HFC 75.  now 5-6 here at HFC Chanthaphone is at a crucial spot in his career. One thing that you will never take from "The Phoenix" is he puts on some entertaining fights and has collected 9 Performance bonuses in his career. A win tonight can bring hype to the now 27 year old HFC 185 pounder and being his opponent is a former HFC MW champ this fight could make his career if he can pick up the W.   The Artist formally known as Dre Battle is looking to get his career back on track after a heartbreaking Split Decision loss last month to Conor McGregor. BWGA now under new management under the Tomo fight team sets out to write a new chapter in his pro MMA career. This former two time HFC MW champion has fought a who's who of challengers just a few names that come to mind-Sabotage, Baruto, ADA and Chip Nickel, and of course lets not forget his memorable bout against former HW champ Massive Wanker. One win here could very easily put his name back in the cap for Title Contender at 185.            Welterweight Title Eliminator               Vasil Petrov     vs      Shaquan Woods
Are first Welterweight Title eliminator will feature two well known HFC 170 pounders!   Vasil Petrov is a former Madness MMA Welterweight champion who at one time looked almost unbeatable. Petrov is a very talented striker winning 10 of his 13 victories via (T)KO finish add in 2 "KOTN" and 2 "FOTN" and Petrov has quite the resume. Vasil was most notably former Welterweight champion Aingot Nofud's last opponent and though it was not the Bulgarian's night i fully expect Petrov to right his wrongs. A no Nonsense fighter is Vasil Petrov, and with the skillset he possess I can see him being champ again.   Shaquan "Five hands" Woods has had some wars here at HFC and now finds himself under new management in his career. His new Manger Jack King looks to take "Five Hands" to the promise land and what better way then entering this 4 man title eliminator for the vacant 170 pound belt.  A one time champion in his own right Woods has also faced a similar opponent as Vasil, in the former retired champ Aingot Nofud and like Vasil came up on the loosing side of that one.  Shaquan is now 7-4 inside the HFC cage.             Welterweight Title Eliminator      Potemkin Izmaylov    vs     Manco Unknown    Are second Welterweight Title Eliminator will feature two former BBFC products.   Potemkin Izmaylov is a former Checkmate and BBFC welterweight champion and is a perfect 2-0 here at HFC currently. A star pupil of Whymer van Mastadon, now holds a respected 14-2-1 pro record in the sport. 11 of those 14 victories came by way of (T)KO and with HFC wins over Barrengarry and Cressbeckler this young Russian is a serious threat to this Welterweight Division. His Win over Logan Barrengarry was also a avenged loss for him and he ended that bout with a second round TKO finish just 5 seconds into the second round.   Manco Unknown will be the final peice of this Title Eliminator puzzle and like the other three fighters he is also a former champion. A former two time Checkmate Middleweight Champion and a former Conquest Middleweight Champion, Unknown now searchers for his first title at his new weight class of 170 pounds. After a nice 2-0 start to his 170 pound journey both of which ended by way of Submission(Triangle Choke)  Manco is in route to doing so.  Manco  is a  threat on the ground and on his feet with 4 (T)KO victories and 9 Submissions.            Heavyweight Title Fight           Viktor Babinski     vs      Leif Leifsson           " CHALLENGER"            "CHAMPION"
What better way to end the festivities then a slobber knocker for the Heavyweight Belt!   Yet another LOM competitor will grace us with there presence this weekend as Viktor Babinski makes his highly anticipated return to HFC. After starting his Pro Career out at Light Heavyweight where he debuted in the LOM contest, Viktor decided to take some time away from MMA and worked on his fundamentals of striking. He went 3-0 in some Kickboxing fights, winning all three by one punch KO. He then decided it was time to return to MMA and after bulking up he then jumped into the HW division . Although he wasn't always dominant , Viktor slowly started to rack up some wins and make a name for himself . His first big claim to fame was his HW title win at the Panda Fights Org where he flattened Ross Barkley to win the belt. He then moved on to SFL where he went 4-1 earning two wins over a very talented Kevin McGuire both by KO. Of course they where by KO all his MMA and Kickboxing wins are by TKO or KO, Babinski has deadly KO power but will it be enough to dethrone Leifsson?   Leif "The Stand and Pray Viking" Leifsson began his career under the management of Balls Manager Incorporated and rose to a nice 9-2 pro record. After Balls departure from the MMA business though Leif then was signed onto the Bjorn O'donnel fight camp where he took his name to the top.  All of Leif's hard work was rewarded at HFC 73 where he took out then HFC HW champ Boris Krylov in just 1;33 seconds due to a hideous cut that forced a Doctor stoppage.  Next up was his first title defense against #1 contender Jason Mendoza, and Mendoza looked to be on his way to taking the belt as he was up 2-0 heading into round #3. Then from out of nowhere Leifsson lands a  uppercut that sent Mendoza to a rocked state, with murder in his eyes Leif then followed up with another huge Uppercut sending his foe crashing to the mat in defeat. His most recent Title defense was the one and only Massive Wanker who was coming off a tuff loss to Leif's training partner Olli Lindholm. With Lindholm in his corner Leif was felling very confident in this title defense and he not only beat Wanker but Finished him in the first round. Being the first to over finish Massive Wanker. Now he awaits a like wise heavy handed KO artist in Viktor Babinski.   Grab your Popcorn and Alcohol fight fans the HFC is bringing the Finishers this weekend, so don't blink for a second!
