IMMA 80: $7 Million Man RD1 Preview by Alice Cooper

Sinuhe Egyptian v Maximus Scott   Fighting out of Las Vegas is "Cursed" Sinuhe Egyptian. With an elite stand up game and granite chin,This Egyptian born warrior has carved out some impressive stats in his record. With 28 wins,13 by (T)KO and only 1 (T)KO loss. With numbers like these you would have to think taking him to the mat is the way to stop him, think again. With a brown belt in BJJ and truly sensational wrestling skills "Cursed" is able to win from the top or bottom Before his TKO loss to Gomer Pyle at IMMA 76,Maximus Scott was on an EPIC winning streak.9 fights,6 went the distance and 3 by impressive finnishes.Scott means buisness.Arguably the most balanced fighter on the card he is sensational in every aspect of MMA.Look out for a KO when Scott is in the cage,Half of the mans 24 wins have come by knock out,And he is the proud owner of 5 fight of the night awards.basically, when Scott is fighting you are going to get your money's worth   Prediction: Two very even fighters here.Anyones game on the ground,However i feel Egyptian has a slight (And i mean SLIGHT) advantage in the stand up.Not sure if this will play a big factor in the outcome or not but i don't think i can ignore it.A close fight for sure but i am saying Sinuhe Egyptian by Decision
Congo Ashantie v Tomi Koski   Hot off back to back TKO wins Congo Ashantie can certainly bang.19-4-0,13 wins by (T)KO.Or to put it another way nearly 70% of his wins see the other guy staring at the ceiling.Congo's real strength is his Muay Thai. His freakish flexibility makes him able to land that head kick with ease.If you have any holes in your defence you can be sure to find congo's fist,Knee,Elbow or foot smashing through it. Tomi "Felix" Koski is no slouch when it comes to throwing hands.Half of his 28 victories have come by (T)KO and it is hardly surprising to anyone who has seen his Elite boxing skills in the flesh. He fleshes out his standing game with Exceptional Muay Thai making him deadly at any range.Exceptional wrestling skills make him able to take you to the ground and his black belt in BJJ means you probably wont get back up again   Prediction:There are alot of things that could happen in this fight. If they keep the fight standing I think Congo's Muay Thai will allow him to do more than Tomi's Boxing. If they go to the ground then that black belt of Koski's may be the deciding factor.Decisions decisions.I am going to say Congo by (T)KO but really anything could happen here.Potential fight of the night anyone?   Hug Raction v Arnie Ironz   One thing i can definitely say about Hug "E" Raction is he does not have boring fights. He has punched 12 of the 13 scalps on his belt clean off.His Elite Boxing and good gas tank means this guy can punch and punch and punch.Add to that his Exceptional Muay Thai and Wrestling and you will see he is able to fight at range and smother anyone he is standing across from.I will say it one more time,Watch Hug "E" Raction people,He does NOT have boring fights What the hell is that sound?,Is it a bird?,Is it a plane?.No,It's the sound of 24 year old Arnie Ironz tearing through IMMA.With an impressive record of 9-2-0 he has certainly been making a name for himself.A stand up fighter who is always looking for the KO,ironz has sensational Boxing and Muay Thai skills. He also has world class wrestling and a purple belt in BJJ meaning he can easily finnish a fight on the ground. He just prefers to Knock you out   Prediction:Sombody is getting KO'd.Both guys have a good ground game but they both seem to really like punching people.I am picking Hug in this fight. He has slightly better boxing and a fair bit more experience.A short but exciting fight so Hug by KO round 1   Jack Tripper v Ace Darko   Jack "The Ripper" Tripper will be looking to regain momentum in this fight after his IMMA 74 loss to Mitchell Stehling.Prior to that "The Ripper" was on fire with wins by head kick's,cut's,submissions and TKO.A quick glance at his record will tell you Jack has Sensational Boxing and Exceptional Muay Thai skills.A very complete stand up fighter,And as Marcelinho Garcia will tell you he can handle himself on the ground too Ace Darko,Cardio machine has no momentum issues going into this fight,He will be looking to add number 5 to his current 4 fight winning streak. With his World class Boxing Ace is a difficult stand up fighter. His Cardio means you are unlikely to ever see him looking tired while mixing it up.His other main strength is his Elite Wrestling,Ace is a patient fighter who is happy to wait for you to make a mistake and pounce.Advice for his opponents,Don't make a mistake   Prediction:Another tough call here but i will say Ace Darko by Decision.A tough fight no doubt but I think he will eke out a close one   Ramses Roberts v James Abrams   Ramses Roberts is a truly special talent. He went undefeated in his first 9 fights and has since racked up an impressive record of 23-5-0 with 20 wins by (T)KO.His Elite Boxing has made sure only 3 of his fights have been left in the hands of the judges. He has Wonderful wrestling skills and a Purple belt in BJJ.With a complete skill set like that,This 33 year old has alot of milage left on the clock Coming off back to back losses James Abrams will be fired up and ready to hurt someone in this fighh. His main strength's are his Sensational Boxing and good gas tank.Backing that up is his Wonderful wrestling knowledge and BJJ brown belt. The future is looking bright for 28 year old Abrams   Prediction:I am backing Roberts by TKO here.Taking nothing away from Abrams,Roberts is 5 years his senior and this experience advantage will play an important part in the outcome to this fight   Quick Picks   Nyrkki Sankari(18-12-0) v Daniel Dumile(10-2-0) - Dumile by TKO Round 3 Dumbass McWeakhands(23-6-1) v Rick Ross(16-8-0) - McWeakhands by TKO Round 2 Boyd Lucas(3-0-0) v Buddy Guy(17-1-0) - Lucas by KO Round 2 Frankestein Mir(20-7-0) v Georgios Geremek(7-2-0) - Mir by Submission Round 1 Zophiel Furfur(12-1-0) v Ben Dingdown(21-13-0) - Furfur by Decision
