Let me tell you a story of a brash young Irish boxer who got caught up with the wrong group of people. No one quite knows his real name but he went by CelticStryder. He was born and bred in the city of Limerick and had all the talent in the world with an impressive amateur record to prove it. He also had a love for the drink and a temper to boot. True Irish Whiskey to be exact..... Redbreast 15 Years. CelticStryder had a reputation of spending majority of his days in the gym training hard, and his nights at a local watering hole. You see the city of Limerick has a seedy past of crime and mob wars.... its economy ruled by mafia families who had law enforcement and politicians in its back pocket. One in particular known only as The League of Shadows had its eye on CelticStryder..... and CelticStryder fit right in.

As the story goes a high serving member of one of The League of Shadows had a love for boxing and frequently visited local amateur fights. He heard the legend of "The Lad From Limerick" with the stiff right hand that not a man alive could stand up to. He wanted to meet the young lad and decided to show up to CelticStryder's next amateur fight. After witnessing a quick first round knockout for himself, The League of Shadows sent a representative to approach CelticStryder in a back alley and made an offer that could not be refused. In Limerick The League of Shadows controls everything and the family always get what they want. An exploding boxing career in exchange for a cut of the riches that would follow. Some on the local boxing scene question how accurate CelticStryder's amateur record really is and if The League of Shadows were fixing fights for him and paying off his opponents to take a dive.

None the less... CelticStryder's new found association only made him more confident, more outspoken, and more brash. With every win his legend grew..... along with his mouth and his outlandish behavior. Just as it looked like CelticStryder was about to burst on to the professional scene and boxing stardom..... he bit off more than he could chew! At that same local watering hole that he frequented every night, he took issue with a man he had never seen before. A drunken bar fight broke out and CelticStryder ended up landing that legendary right hand to the chin of the stranger knocking him out cold. Little did he know... that man was a high serving member of another crime family that would not take the whole event lightly. Now most men would have gotten out of there..... but not CelticStryder. He believed there was not a man in the world that could touch him. He was about to find out how very wrong he was. By the end of the night the bartender found him on the men's washroom floor in a puddle of his own blood and piss.... beaten to within an inch of his life.

After spending several weeks in hospital recovering from multiple broken bones and internal bleeding CelticStryder appeared to be on the mend, hopefully having learned his lesson. One small detail was slightly more troublesome though. His vision was still left blurry. Several more months went by but his vision was slow to improve. Additional tests and CT Scans revealed permanent brain damage which was the cause of his blurry vision. A boxer that can't see the punches coming does not fair well in a fight at all.... no matter how hard he can throw that right hand! As for the men that did this..... Lets just say The League of Shadows don't take lightly to cutting their investments short either!

Its getting late now, and if I don't get home my wife Alicia is going to be thinking I am with a pretty girl. If I see you here again I'll tell you how CelticStryder came to be here in MMA Tycoon and what he might be planning. Until next time.... take care now.
