Valentin "The Hand Grenade" Taneyev moves his record to 26-11-1 with a stunning yet spectacular knockout over former top ranked LHW and SFL champion Giuseppe Hopkins. Valentin takes the rivalry 2-0 and appears to have some KO cryptonite code in his gloves that hones in and locks on Hopkins face, nuking it into the ozone.

Rumors have it that after suffering his 2nd loss to the Russian Hand Grenade, that Hopkins is contemplating a career change to 185, following in the path of one tough British cunt named Oliver Lancaster, brother of Cedric. Oliver was able to win the belt by dropping to 185. Will Hopkins be able to do the same if he commits to the weight cut?

Valentin doesn't care about either man, since they're middleweights now. He has his sights set on defending the LHW title that's been ever so elusive during his career. Taneyev is now 3-3 in SFL title shots. This is his 3rd time capturing the belt. He's yet to successfully defend it, having lost bothy title defenses to Oliver Lancaster and Jackson Trigger by way of knockout.

However, he's one of the most exciting fighters to watch in the world at Light Heavyweight, not just the SFL. He's one of the most decorated knockout artist in the SFL, right next to his rival Guiseppe Hopkins, and he's been not-so-quietly trying to make his stamp on the organization get become a lock into the Hall of Fame with the former champ Hopkins.

Inside the SFL Valentin "Hand Grenade" Taneyev is tied for most fights (24) and is second for most wins (15) and KO's (14). Now with 3 championships under his belt, he'll certainly hope he can string together some defenses and make a claim towards the mystical Hall of Fame of the SFL.
