in our first matchup, in the 155 division. Mirko Kozlov (odds +104) v Sanemoto Tozan (odds -194)
It's believed that Toza has the advantage due to high skill levels in the submission game. We cant forget that Kozlov is the better wrestler and has a bigger body frame which may provide some advantage on the struggle for positions. But as we say, in the fight game, anything can happen so we will see.
our next fight, at the 205 division, we have Leon Jones (odds -208) v Donell Martin (odds +111) Martin coming in with the weight advantage and superior craft in the wrestling game. Jones can wrestle but will need to rely on his ground game
next up, the 205 division Elliot Thicke (odds +174) v Buzz Williamson (odds -365)
E. Thicke has the wrestle game on his side and is about 3 pounds heavier, but will he survive Williamson's BJJ game. I hope he has trained well.
Next up, in the 155 division. Lance Davenport (odds +104) v Steve Louis (odds -194). Davenport seems to have all the tools in the bag but, seems to look evenly matched in the BJJ department. Louis earlier today stated where he said that he is ready for the ground game and believes he will get this via tap-out. This is why he has been putting extra hours into training camp working on his BJJ.
For the co-main event we have the 265+ division, Seth Palmer (odds +285) v Robbie Dicks (odds -809). It's believed that Palmer is an experienced Kickboxer heading in towards unknown territory in the world of grappling. Will he be the surprise of the night, and take this one. On the other end we have "Big Boy" Dicks, stepping in this fight at a staggering 278 pounds, with great experience in wrestling and with a blue belt in BJJ. According to ubets.com has voted to be the one favored to win.
And finally, for the main event, we have the 265+ Wolrd Super Heavyweight fight. Ben Stone (odds +111) v Mike Dux (odds -208). Stone happens to be a well known wrestler with some BJJ skills up his sleeves. But, Dux is the BJJ expert in this fight.
What would happen? We don't know yet, but we will have to wait and see.
