“One night, I was really depressed. All that I worked for was gone. All the lady friends, and even male friends I had were gone. Once again, I cried myself to sleep after drinking way too much. Then I had a dream : I saw prime Bill Cosby in wrestling clothes, on a giant flying horse in space. He said to me, in his unique way : 'Robert, you can't keep going on like this. You're a fighter Robert. You're a fighter !'. Then I saw Steve Urkel and Bill Cosby in an Olympic freestyle wrestling match, and Steve Urkel suplexed the shit out of Bill. I was shocked. And then Bill Cosby flew his horse into the sun very fast and made it explode in a million little purple Urkels.”

“When I woke up I was like 'What the hell was that ! It's the weirdest dream I ever had'”, he recalls. “But then it hit me : I should get into the fight business. I was a NCAA Division 1 wrestler in high school, so it made sense for me to try my hand at it. Also I'd had quite a bit of experience getting down and dirty... if you know what I mean. I guess my R'n'B career kinda helped with that”, he smiles shyly. “And just like that, my faith in life was restored. I started training hard in wrestling and Jiu-Jitsu in the same way I trained my singing, writing and arranging...”.
