Interview with Luka Doncic

Imagine winning seven fights in a row, and then finding yourself manager-less.  It is exactly what happened to the German Super-Heavyweight Luka Doncic.  After a turbulent few months, he agreed to sit down and chat with the Tycoon Times

“So Luka, how are doing?”
“Fine, fine.  I am training hard which is better than hardly training,” he laughed, in that way only a German can at something that isn’t funny.

“So you have not long moved to the Canadian Fighting Championship, how are settling in with your new organisation?”

“Gut ja.  I mean they courted me and offered me a title fight if I signed.  How can you say nein to that?  Now I am the biggest target.  I am the fighter they all want to beat.”

“You are eleven days away from your first title fight, are you feeling any nerves?”

“Of course, of course.  They disappear only when the cage door closes.  Then it is war.”

“You are up against Marcus Davis, a very inexperienced fighter.  How do you prepare for something like that?”  Luka scratched his beard and it sounded like a broken record.

“Marcus is the champion in a new division, so you cannot disrespect him.  He is an excellent boxer and it will be interesting to see how it matches to my Muay Thai.”“Chaos.

“Did you watch his last fight?”

“Of course.  He showed some impressive wrestling and he definitely has some power in his hands, but then everybody does at this weight.”

“Luka, do you have a prediction for the fight?”

“Chaos.  Beautiful, poetic chaos.”

“Luka thanks for your time, and good luck on the 10th.”

Luka Doncic is enormous.  Standing six feet five, with a chest like an oak tree he really is intimidating to look at.  He is certainly polite, and somewhat thoughtful.  Having moved from being a small fish in a big pond, on the 10th of July, Luka Doncic has the chance to carve his name in history.
