Convicted Fight Club: Where are they now?

Editorial by Chris Karter

"The Pitbull" Mohammed Kahn

26-5-1 (23 KO, 3 SUB)

KAHN-BATE. Before he became the face of the 2021 Org of the Year, Combate, "The Pitbull" jumped onto the 350K scene with a bang by winning League of Madness Season 1. Fast forward and he now holds the Combate record for most KO's (14) inside the organization, is a 10 time Combate Light Heavyweight champion, and also the #2 P4P on the entire planet. He's a future Convicted Fight Club Hall of Famer.

"Downtown Funky" Kurt Diesel
1-0-0 (1 DEC)
34-27 TWGC

Kurt Diesel is now an elite wrestling red belt that spends his weekdays sparring at Convicted Fight Club and his weekends rolling for CWC. Although he is a 3 time CWC champion, his inconsistency on the mats has left him unable to separate himself from the pack of grapplers. He has a pretty sweet nickname though.

Jeronimo "Pinoy Savage" Puno
22-9-0 (17 KO, 3 SUB, 2 DEC)

Son of Kajun, 3rd Generation Puno, perhaps the Strongest Tycoon Family Lineage in all of the tycoon land. Jeronimo however, is a bit of a disappointment in comparison to his predecessors. He did however destroy Bubba's grandson Tor KillsInWater and avenged the family name. A one-time Combate Heavyweight champion, the highest rank he's achieved thus far is #17. He's currently ranked as a top 10 heavyweight in the weight class and if he gets past his next opponent one would assume he'd back in line for the Combate Heavyweight strap.

"Kung Fu Zombie" Bong Ji Woo
19-5-0 (10 TKO, 6 SUB, 3 DEC)
10-4 TWGC

Bong Ji Woo was 1-0 the last time this was updated. Since then he shined at WCF, winning the LW belt and defending it 4 times before moving on to the Olympics. After a disappointed first round elimination in the Olympics, he's signed with Combate and had ups and downs, going 3-3 over his last 6 fights. His career is far from over, perhaps he'll add a LW title to the belt cabinet before it's all said and done.

** RETIRED **

Marcello "Hurricane" Sosa
21-9-1 (10 KO, 11 DEC)

Marcello "Hurricane" Sosa was snubbed from the HFC Hall of Fame after he signed with SYN, battered a Sitsongrit for 5 rounds and captured the Syn Featherweight Championship of the world. Once ranked 9th P4P in the world, unfortunately for Sosa the bright lights of stardom were too much and he partied way too hard - suffering a heart attack during the weekend of winning the Syn' title. Perhaps one of the worst endings of any fighter to climb this high, he finished his SYN career 3-7. He was on a 5 fight skid before hanging up the gloves entirely, walking away from the sport of MMA and breaking young Maurice's heart in the process. He now teaches punch tech as a coach in Convicted Fight Club.

Marcello Sosa - Hiddens Report.

Igor Warlovski
10-9-0 (6-2 under CK)

After starting career 6-2, CK cut ties with him. He will not be missed. He just lacked the aptitude for MMA fighting at a high level.

Igor Warlovski - Hiddens Report.

Ryoto "War Machine" Takahashi
12-5-0 (4 TKO, 4 SUB, 4 DEC)
2-3 TWGC

Former three time Bantamweight champion at 355K, his jump up to 145 has not been so successful. He was once 8-0 and one of the brightest prospects in the Bantamweight division. He signed with Sucker Punch and moved up to 145, but has posted a disappointing 4-5 record since. He has all the intangibles to be a top fighter, lacking a fight IQ, he is held back by a manager that likes to throw dice and hail satan. He's now crushing cans in SMASH and rumors have it that he's looking to make a move to the LW or WW division.
