SMASH INKS RYOTO TAKAHASHI TO 3 FIGHT EXTENSION
Ryoto "War Machine" Takahashi (13-5-0) signed a 3 fight extension following his TKO victory over Benson Bonanza in the 2nd round. Takahashi was the first fighter to finish Benson by way of strikes in the veteran's 40 fight career. Convicted Inc management reported the finished deal following Alexander Biro meeting their terms. Ryoto Takahashi has been eyeing a move to Lightweight but is on the record saying he has "unfinished business" at 145, with his sights set on a rematch with current featherweight champion Taylor Jack.
Ryoto Takahashi was reported to being connected to WVT and Alfredo Gonzales, but apparently the WVT corporate decision to do away with the ultimate openweight competition and split up the divisions is the reason Ryoto is staying put with his current organization SMASH Fighting Championships.
We asked Ryoto his thoughts on his new deal and he casually responded: "Yes, I am ready to SMASH. Lemme bang bro. Lemme bang."
