Takahashi blames manager after loss

Fighter profile of Ryoto Takahashi by Chris Karter

Fresh off another defeat to SMASH featherweight champion Taylor Jack (33-17-2 MMA), the granite chinned Ryoto "War Machine" Takahashi (13-6 MMA) blames his manager (Chris Karter) for his defeat at the last SMASM event and takes a shot at his own camp following the loss.

"The gameplan was poor, and it is 100% all his fault for my meager performance." Ryoto states, clearly annoyed. "The entire camp I felt neglected. It's like he was too busy with a hurricane, and tidal surges, to adequately prepare me for this fight. If I am being honest, it was completely unacceptable and unprofessional."

Despite the disappointment in his manager and the current trajectory of his career, don't expect the 29 year old Japanese fighter to switch fight camps any time soon.

"This is a tiny bump in the road. Those who do not fall, do not stand up." he says while karate chopping a heavy bag. "Soon I will be the champion, and when I am, that will redeem my manager's embarrassing gameplans that have resulted in my many untimely shortcomings. I am one of the best on the planet and will prove this. I will channel the power of Samurai Jesus."

Before the interview was concluded Takahashi showed off a fancy new arsenal of kicks: the tornado kick, the flying crane kick, the spinning side-winder, and last but not least, the triple round house, a move banned in 97% of countries and a feat that requires a third apendage.
