Fighter profile of Tagnarach Kamara by Chris Karter

Darren Russell did not mince words when he was recently asked about SYN or fellow Irishman and RISE Welterweight Champion Tagnarach Kamara.

In a Q&A-style interview with Tycoon Times, a reader asked him how he feels about the sport.
"SYN, I can’t stand," Russell said. "That, to me, is like a bar fight. And I know practitioners are always like, ‘No, you’re wrong! The amount of training we do!’ Why don’t you just grab a beer bottle and hit the other guy over the head? That’s the next stage from SYN! I f---ing hate it. Fixed fights and padded records." Russell then targeted fellow Irishman Tagnarach Kamara with his criticism.

"That little leprechaun, Tagnarach Kamara, oh please. He gives Ireland a bad name," Russell said. "I know he’s fit, and I admire him for that, but can’t take it. Next time I come in a Skibereen Airport, ‘Darren! We’ll f---ing show you!'" Kamara is preparing to step into the Hollywood world, starring alongside Miss Miracle in an remake of "Magic Mike". Kamara, 23, will play an original character, not himself.
