LFNC King of the Ring preview

Event Preview: LFNC King of the Ring Finals
London Fight Night Club
2011-12-03, London, Wombley Arena
Author:Joe Lang

Hi there everyone! Welcome to the preview of the biggest event in LFNC history.

I can't wait as our two Hall of Famers "The Unseen" Hades Underworld and Lenny "The Guv'nor" Mclean battle it out to see who is the baddest man in LFNC. Although their Titles aren't on the line here, there is a much bigger prize. Pride, reputation, win streaks and the coveted LFNC King of the Ring.

Before I do that, I would like to thank our sponsor for the event [EVO] Koffin Inc. For all your clothing needs, look no further than [EVO] Koffin Inc. Don't forget to thank them when they sponsor your fighter. To do so, click on edit fighter at the top right corner of your fighter page and change post fight comment to thank sponsor. It's EASY! [EVO] Koffin Inc. are even offering $750 to all sponsored fighters who thank them post win! Get into it people!!!

[EVO] Koffin Inc. Presents: LFNC King of the Ring Finals

UNDERCARD:
James Katana v Marlin McCann
Jesse Lennox v Scott Hornsley
Perry Roscrow v Anthony Joshua

MAIN CARD:

Veikko Echtoo v Chad Nazareth

Former Welterweight contender and King of  the Ring Semi-Finalist Nazareth wants to prove he is still in contention for a Welterweight Title shot and he hopes to do so against rising star Echtoo. Echtoo has yet to be finished, and he has an excellent stand up game but has proven he can go to the ground too. Nazareth has a deadly ground game, although he has yet to show it in LFNC. Will this be the fight?

Rick Selby v Bobby Lexus

King of  the Ring alternate Selby steps into the ring against fringe contender Lexus. On paper, it seems that Lexus should win this on all counts, but Selby has shown he has the heart to take anyone to the limit and he will do so against Lexus. Although Lexus should win this fight, I don't see him finishing Selby.

Cpl. Steve Henshaw v Wilfried Handel

The man formerly known as David Bellamy steps into the ring against Handel. Both men are coming off 2 losses in a row but only one person can snap that losing streak. I see this going to the mat as both men are equal on that part. The winner of this fight will be the first person to make a mistake.

Paul Clipse v Knuckle Stone

Another 2 fighters coming off losses. Clipse lost his Title after being eliminated from the King of the Ring tournament and is hoping to get some confidence back by going against contender Knuckle Stone. The LFNC Bantamweight division has been heating up lately, and these two men want a piece of the cake.

Rafael Melartin v Ronan Hollace

Another 2 Bantamweights step into the ring, but these two are fighting off wins. On paper, Hollace has the advantage with experience but Melartin has shown he will not be intimidated by that. Will a win here send a message to the Bantamweight Champion?

Adam Jones v Tony Mortimer

Former Light-Heavyweight Champion Jones entered the King of the Ring as an alternate after a devestating 4 fight losing streak. He then won his two Alternate fights and now faces another LFNC veteran Tony Mortimer. Jones is looking to reclaim what he thinks is his Title while Mortimer wants another shot at the Gold. This will be a close one.

LFNC King of the Ring Fight: Hades Underworld (Middleweight Champion) v Lenny Mclean (Heavyweight Champion)

The moment we have all been waiting for. Two LFNC legends and Hall of Famers colliding in the LFNC Ring. Reputations will be put on the line and left in the Ring. One man's streak comes to an end.

The winner will be crowned the first ever LFNC King of the Ring and have a TItle that noone can take off them. I am way too pumped to even think who will win this one. But at the end of the day, the winner of this fight will be the LFNC fans who witnessed history. Saturday Night cannot come soon enough!!

Will Underworld's 12 fight streak continue to 13? Can Underworld break Mclean's streak? Can anyone else even come close to matching Mclean's streak? All this will be answered this weekend.

Until then, stay safe and I will see you in the RING!!
