THE SNIPER HAS TITLE BELT IN HIS SIGHTS

Marko "The Sniper" Jankovic (15-3-0 MMA) is a Georgian MMA fighter known for his blistering strikes and deadly precision. As a suspected hitman and narco-terrorist for the Red Devil Cartel, controversy has clouded his entire career, but that hasn't stopped him from knocking bitches out. The product of Convicted Top Team has elite boxing and elite muay thai, and relies on his staunch takedown defense to keep the fight from hitting the mats.

Despite being a questionable purple belt in BJJ, he clearly prefers to keep the fights on the feet and exchange in striking bouts. In 2 out of 3 of his losses, he was taken down at least 5 times by the opponent, and spent the majority of the fight adapting a defensive guard from the bottom of the ground, dropping a unaminous decision to both opponents.

He's only been stopped one time in his entire career, and that was against the rival dark elf Drizzt Do Urden (30-13-0 MMA) of Macedonia. Jankovic was absolutely devastated by the loss, as he was caught slipping and Do Urden pounced on him to force the ref to stop it. Jankovic had previously knocked Drizzt Do Urden in the first round back at OFK 242, so the loss especially stung as Marko entered the contest soaring with confidence.

Unshaken by defeat, Marko has since rallied off numerous knockout victories, compiling a 5-1 record in his last 6, with 4 fight win streak that has earned him the most recent shot at the Odense MMA welterweight title. His opponent Gregor Marek (11-0-1 MMA, 3-0-0 KT) is coming off a knockout victory over his rival Drizzt Do Urden. The championship showdown is a classic battle of old USSR / Yugoslavia when Georgian Marko takes on Czech Gregor. The bout is nearly guaranteed to take place exclusively on the feet and is one of the highest anticipated fights in the Odense MMA organization in quite some time.
