KERSIKOV NEW HEAVYWEIGHT KING | BONAPARTE DETHRONED | BILLY BLANK NEXT

Andrei Kersikov (17-4-0) captured the Heavyweight title in style, finishing off the former reigning champion Maximillian "The Lion" Bonaparte (21-6-0) with a brutal combination of punches in the 3rd round to score the knockout victory. With this impressive victory Kersikov has established himself as one of the best Heavyweight fighters on the planet not named Kilo Maluga or Kjetil Olsen, and he brings the Combate Heavyweight title back to the Ukraine to give his people something to cheer for since the Ruskies are still pillaging their lands and women.

What's next for Maximillian Bonaparte after this devastating loss? Surely the young French kickboxer will look forward to getting back into the cage and wiping the taste of defeat from his mouth. Before losing his belt, he was riding a 7 fight winning streak with 3 Combate Heavyweight title victories.

The #6 ranked Heavyweight in the world, Billy "Bulldozer" Blank (19-8-0), was sitting cage side for the event in the Tokyo Bowl. He watched the sequence of events unfold with a sick and twisted smile on his face. Billy Blank is a former Heavyweight champion in Combate that lost his title to Gerry "Mandering" Line (26-13-0) back at Combate 180 and Blank has been eager to recapture gold ever since, starching back-to-back top heavyweight contenders in Jimmy Granite (18-9-0) and John Boy Walton (15-5-0).

STEP INTO THE MATRIX | MATRIX VS MCWRESTLER V ON THE HORIZON?

The Welterweight champion that goes by Matrix Man (25-12-2) defended his title against hard-hitting Carter Wright (22-10-1) to extend his winning streak to 7.

Matrix Man -whose Greek name he was given at birthright is too long and complicated to actually type out - is undefeated inside the Combate cage, and contributes his manager Mikey C and his teammates at the The Rubber Guard Emporium as a major contribution to his recent success.

His rival Dude McWrestler (28-10-0) also picked up a victory, getting back into the win column after dry humping George Pierre (16-9-0) for the better part of 3 rounds. Dude is 2-2 against Matrix Man, and it's time for these fighters to throw down one final time to settle their beef.

Both fighters are equally eccentric in their own right, and they go by really weird names, but fans are excited to see the final chapter in their 5 fight rivalry.

THE BELT COLLECTOR ADDS ONE MORE | DID LI XIAODONG HAVE THE CHINA FLU?

"The Belt Collector" Juodasis Vaiduoklis (29-10-1) handled business in his Combate debut by dispatching former featherweight champion Li Xiaodong (26-10-0) in the 1st round by way of TKO.

Lithuania's favorite fighter Juodasis Vaiduoklis took some time post fight to say the following; "Hello, Combate. My close friend and mentor, Arthur Morgan, was Combate's third middleweight champion. It has been a long journey back to the top for Gunderson promotions. I want to dedicate this win to Arthur, Slick and several, but not all, of my illegitimate children. I will be fighting champion."

If we're being honest, it was not Li Xiaodong's best performance and when he entered the cage he looked lethargic. Rumors have it that the fighter from Beijing spent a little too much time in Wuhan's wet market and was struck with a severe case of the China flu before this bout, and it's hard to dispel such a myth when you gas out walking into the arena. Fans and Combate brass respect the fact that Li showed up to this fight at all given his physical condition entering the contest.
