Despite Haggar's impressive 7-fight win streak, he was unable to overcome Maluga's striking dominance. Now, he stands at a crossroads, seeking to bounce back from his first loss in over a year.
On the other side of the cage, Andrei Kersikov has been on a mission of redemption. After suffering a devastating loss to Haggar in their first encounter, Kersikov made a triumphant return by finishing the hard-hitting Malcolm "El Martillo" Rivera (23-13-0) in the first round via strikes, and then knocking out SPPS Heavyweight Champion Noah Anderson. The victory over Noah Anderson not only showcased Kersikov's power but also ignited his desire for payback against the man who dethroned him.
Their first bout saw Haggar stun the MMA world with a shocking first-round TKO victory over Kersikov. It was a fight characterized by Haggar's ability to secure an early takedown and unleash a barrage of ground-and-pound that left Kersikov unable to defend himself.
