Top Irish Fighter Signs 5-fight Deal With SYN

Convicted Fight Club, Gym, Los Angeles
Company profile by Chris Karter

The top ranked welterweight in the world, Tagnarach Kamara (17-0-0), has officially signed a 5 fight contract with the Synchronicity organization. The Tycoon Times are the first to break the big news following the record breaking contract for an undisclosed 7 figures per fight. Kamara was the most highly sought prospect in free agency and any organization should consider themselves lucky to have him.

Kamara signs with the SYN organization on the heels of a narrow split decision victory at Sucker Punch Pro Series 277 after a hardly fought 5 round battle with YABAI's Juan "Holy Roller" Christiano (27-15-2). The Irishman appeared to dominate the Israeli blackbelt for the majority of the contest, so a lot of fans had some pretty harsh feedback when the split decision was announced, and rightfully so. We polled audience members and 10 out of 10 of them agreed that Kamara had done more than enough to defend the belt against the challenger.

The undefeated rowdy Irish striker was expected to walk immediately into a title shot at SYN, but with a fight scheduled already for the vacant welterweight title between two fighters not named Tagnarach Kamara, that title shot may have to wait. Rumors are circulating the rumor mill that Kamara might actually make his SYN debut in the co-main event this weekend against former SYN Welterweight champion Joad Cressbeckler (33-15-0).

The 3 round bout against the former champ would arguably be the toughest fight of his career, but comes at a time when Cressbeckler is on the backslide of his career, 1-5 in his last 6 contests, so many of the fans feel like the matchup is a bit anticlimatic. But true fight fans know that this will be an extremely challenging test and step up in competition for the product of Convicted Fight Club, and are excited to see if it pans out. So far Kamara has accepted, and the ball is in Cressbeckler and his leftwing liberal management team's court.
