Johnny "Vampire Hunter" Albatross (31-15-0) prophecies what could possibly be the kryptonite for a seemingly invincible Ryoto "War Machine" Takahashi (31-8-0).
Johnny Albatross believes that he knows what will be the undoing of the seemingly unstoppable Ryoto Takahashi. The newly crowned Syn' lightweight champion successfully captured the title at SYN 1027 this week in incredible fashion after dominating former champion Rod De Minaur enroute to a unaminous decision. The opening round was the most competitive before Takahashi's superior technique and physical attributes started to seperate him from his opponent as the rounds went on.
Albatross has previously been called out by Ryoto Takahashi when Ryoto reminded him that he used to fight at Bantamweight earlier in his career, and the shoe is now on the other foot. It seems that 'Vampire Hunter' wants to face-off against the lightweight king if all the cards fall into place.
Johnny Albatross is known for his chaotic and marauding fighting style, and has thrown caution to the wind in fights on a number of occasions. Whilst his exciting style provides fans with much entertainment, it doesn't always lend itself to helping him win fights.
But that didn't stop him from sharing his confidence that the chaotic style he fights with could be the "kryptonite" of Ryoto Takahashi.
Johnny Albatross said this: "Ryoto hasn't fought anyone who sees "red". He hasn't been in a dogfight with a real dog fighter. He has fought polished guys… but the dogfight is his kryptonite."
Johnny "Vampire Hunter" Albatross has won six performance bonuses out of his ten total Combate fights thus far. It includes a Fight of the Night against Anurak Bualuang at C228 and Knockout of the Night against Eduardo Corassa at C207 that helped his capture the Combate bantamweight title.
