 TAMPA, FLORIDA ― Convicted Fight Club's Tommy Santoro (8-0 MMA, 8 Knockouts) is the current Underground Cage Fighting Middleweight champion. He made his debut in dramatic fashion back at UCF 11 in the Underground arena in London by dispatching Mapuche "Handless" Galvarino (9-2 MMA, 8 Knockouts) in 24 seconds into the first round.
Tommy was already well-known on the regional scene, especially against the hardcore fans that follow the elite talent emerging from the regional scenes, but the knockout of Galvarino really opened a lot of eyes to the pundits. The two fighters met in the center of the ring but Santoro came out there with a crazed look in his eye and put it on the Polish fighter until sleeping him with a big right hook.
Tommy's popularity soured to new heights following that championship win and knockout of the night performance, and one would expect that there would be a long line of contenders chomping at the bit to steal his hype away from him but alas, that's not the case at all. Santoro claims that nearly half-a-dozen opponents from self-claimed respectable camps have turned down fight offers against the Convicted Fight Club prospect.
"All these mother f***ers are p****s." Tommy says, deadly serious. "I don't want to say no names and give these f**s attention, but some of these guys actually train at prestigious gyms. I mean, they f***ing suck bro, but most of the non-casuals would recognize these camps. They've been around the game forever and they've gone soft. I get it. I wouldn't want my fighter to fight me either. I'm a dangerous ass dude. I will f*** you up. But I'm not no b**** bro, and I'll throwdown with any motherf****r if there's money on the line."
The young Italian-American Middleweight is obviously just excited and a bit annoyed that he hasn't found a dance partner yet, perhaps he'll mature with age and rant a little less, because lord knows talking trash will hurt the snowflakes in the jellies. Tommy is a beast though, and no doubt he'll crush his next opponent as easily as he did his last 8 victims.
