 The Great Tam Yu Tai (372393) has been inducted to the GAMMA HOF this morning!
Tam Yu Tai is a former top 10 ranking fighter and is one of the all time greats of the modern GAMMA era, with a record inside GAMMA of 22-9-0.
Known for his chin and KO power, he has a total of 15 finishes among those 22 fights, which ranks him among the best KO artists in the lower weight divisions.
His 19 FON awards is 13th highest of all time in GAMMA. His 16 title fights is also ranked 14th of all time. He also had 2 super fight wins against top competition.
In 2023 Tam was also ranked #1 greatest fighter in GAMMA for the year. He had his most impressive run from 2022-12-03 until 2024-01-06, going on a 16-2 stretch with a 8 fight winning streak during that period.
His biggest wins were over Gunner Bond, Nova Lankinen, Jesse Custer, Logan Barrengarry, Tomoe Gozen, Roland Weudke, Dougal McCraken, Mike Camble among others.
He retired with a total of 318 points, which is 18th highest in GAMMA history. He probably would be higher, if his career was longer, as he retired at just 33y of age.
This induction is Laz Staz's 6th GAMMA fighter hall of fame induction, a feat only ever beaten by the great Whymer Van Mastodon.
