 Asc Aftermath Preview
Welcome folks to yet another great event from your favourite MMA org Ascension.. The matches scheduled for this weekend is sure to excite any MMA fan..with two titles on the line, it may become a day you will never forget..Lets take a look at the top five matchups..
Mason Archer v/s Pat McDermot
What a match to begin the event with..the two champions are gonna go head to head to decide who is the best..With slightly better Boxing and MT McDermot looks to have the advantage, but Archer isn’t one to let that stop him..Both have high KO power and also are capable of taking care of themselves..Both are on winning sprees..I expect both the fighters to give it their best..and wouldn’t be surprised if they match each other blow by blow..
Fatu Tua v/s Antonio Manoel
The 265 lbs title is on the line..Tua gets a chance to win back the title that he held for some time..but it isn’t going to be easy..With better MT and a brown belt in BJJ Manoel looks like the better fighter on his feet as well as on the ground..Tua will have to come up with an extraordinary performance to win this one..but then, he is very much capable of doing just that..Both will give it everything..but who will be the better fighter on the day?..lets wait and see..
Kaely Cullen v/s Lukasz Plexico
What a wonderful match this is going to be..With sensational wrestling and black belt in BJJ Cullen is a sure winner if the fight goes to the ground..And with Sensational Boxing and remarkable MT Plexico can beat the hell out of his opponent if both stay on their feet.. Plexico will look to stuff Cullen’s takedown attempts and try to knock him out..And Cullen will try his best to defend against Plexico’s strikes and take the fight to the ground, where he knows he can win..Striker v/s Grappler..
J Blunts v/s Wade Wilson
It’s the 185 lbs title on the line this time..Blunts has an impressive skill set..and is looking all ready to win the title..but with elite boxing, MT and wrestling and a brown belt in BJJ, Wilson is capable of keeping that title for himself for a long time..Blunts will have to go all out and force a mistake out of Wilson if he wants any chance of a victory..But when the title is on the line, no fighter can be written off..cos its a fight that could make a fighter a legend..
Tukka Hirvonen v/s Travis Bickle
Both fighters are having similar skills in all primaries except MT, Bickle has a huge advantage over Hirvonen..Bickle would be looking to capitalise on this advantage and kick the fight out of Hirvonen’s reach.. Hirvonen would have to come up with the best defensive techniques to defend against those kicks and elbows..a slight mistake and he could be knocked out before he knows what hit him..
