If he wants to drown out the voices of the haters, he can’t just shake it off. He talks the talk and now he has to prove once and for all that he can walk the walk. His interest in social media is a symbol of his youthful spirit and if he can bring that to the ring it could prove to be the difference maker. His opponent might have the experience edge but Divock Origi doesn’t give up when the going gets tough. He’s a hard hitting brawler with fists like anvils and he can keep swinging them all night long. If he can set a frantic pace and keep it up until the final bell is rung, the living legend Sotiris Kakoullis could be in a world of trouble.

In a fight of the year candidate, Divock Origi went to war against then champion Menace Defoe and took hold of one of the most coveted titles in the MMATycoon world: the GAMMA light heavyweight title. This significant victory elevated him to greatness and gave him this shot at global domination. In this fight both gladiators showed heart and determination in a battle for supremacy in the GAMMA light heavyweight division. But one has to point out that Menace Defoe, while already an established talent under the GAMMA banner, has yet to prove himself before the rest of the world. Seeing as Menace Defoe had Origi in a world of hurt on multiple occasions during the fight, this could spell trouble for the Belgian Beast now that he is set to face an already established elite fighter of global magnitude. In his last fight Origi chose victory at the cost of pain and kept flirting with disaster in the biggest fight of his career. He managed to get away with it last time but against Sotiris Kakoullis, the tiniest mistake could prove fatal.

He needs to find a way to regain his powers of old that hurt all the foes he’s vanquished to date and make them stay. Don’t stop believing in this 35 year old as he’s trying to hold on to this feeling with all his might. While he’s won only one of his last three fights, he is still one of the best light heavyweights in the world and all these fights happened at the highest level. If there’s one thing you can be sure of, is that this proud Cypriot will be bringing the fight to the Belgian Beast. With more finishes on his record than his opponent has wins, don’t be surprised if Sotiris Kakoullis decides to stand and bang with fellow knock out artist Divock Origi. While he should be wary of Origi’s offense, Kakoullis has enough experience under his belt to know that offense is the best defense.
2) This isn’t his first rodeo!
In terms of experience Kakoullis is in a class higher than anyone Origi has ever faced. He’s fought with the best the world has to offer and came out victorious most of the time. While Kakoullis can feel time slipping away, he is going down swinging! The experience edge could just be what he needs because his opponent, while an experienced veteran, has not yet had the pleasure of taking on the finest fighters this world has to offer.
