Russell Rants

Fighter profile of Tagnarach Kamara by Chris Karter

Darren Russell did not mince words when he was recently asked about SYN or fellow Irishman and RISE Welterweight Champion Tagnarach Kamara.

In a Q&A-style interview with Tycoon Times, a reader asked him how he feels about the sport.
"SYN, I can’t stand," Russell said. "That, to me, is like a bar fight. And I know practitioners are always like, ‘No, you’re wrong! The amount of training we do!’ Why don’t you just grab a beer bottle and hit the other guy over the head? That’s the next stage from SYN! I f---ing hate it. Fixed fights and padded records."   Russell then targeted fellow Irishman Tagnarach Kamara with his criticism.

"That little leprechaun, Tagnarach Kamara, oh please. He gives Ireland a bad name," Russell said. "I know he’s fit, and I admire him for that, but can’t take it. Next time I come in a Skibereen Airport, ‘Darren! We’ll f---ing show you!'"   Kamara is preparing to step into the Hollywood world, starring

CFC 525 Event Preview

Welcome CFC fight fans to the second event of the weekend coming to you live from the Hard Knocks in Montreal as we present to you CFC 525.  This one is topped off with a Welterweight Championship fight and yes, once again that clown Louie is up to his old hijinx once again.  Why is it so hard for this guy to count, who approved that event poster with a past event #?  Clownshow!!   Advanced ticket sales tell us we should be expecting upwards of 3000 crazed Canadian Fight Fans to be in attendance for this one.    As always make sure you run down to PWNAGE™ located on the Los Angeles stop of the High Street for all your Fighters clothing needs to ensure their morale is recovered quickly and maintained, don't let your fake little guys wallow in dirty or pretend magical threads as that only brings them down and stunts their ability to learn in the gym and perform in the cage!  Also a key point is to fulfill their supplement needs to s

GAMMA: Papa Moosh Dambullah HOF Induction

Global Association of MMA, Fight Organization, London
Company profile by Mentor Guru Corleone

Managed by GAMMA Hall of Famer Bwang Jong Sr (91781).

Had a 21-8-0 record in GAMMA and a 4-1 record in our GAMMA Contenders. Papa is a 3 time 185lbs champ with a total of 12 title fights in total. He is also the 2021 GAMMA fighter of the year and was voted the 185lbs game best fighter in 2021.
He had several major wins during his dominating run, including wins over Shane Raffington, Anthony Falcone, Bill Newton, Husein Magomaevaboff, Roland Weudke among others.
His 228 total points ranks him 17th all time in the GAMMA all time great list. He probably would of been much higher up this list if he had more volume, but after the retirement of Bwang, he got picked up by a new manager and his GAMMA run was short lived after that.
This induction also means Bwang has 3 fighters in the HoF, he also moved up one spot in the all time GAMMA greatest manager list, currently in 7th and just 3 points below Grumpy Bastard (102643) who has 936 points.

Rising Combate star Walad Anubis embraces newfound attention

Fighter profile of Walad Anubis by Chris Karter

Walad Anubis predicts he has what it takes and it’s not a matter of “if,” but “when.”

A bright, budding star from Nile Valley, Egypt (17-9 MMA, 1-0 Combate) has already made a splash in Combate, just one fight into his promotional tenure, with a largely dominant win over Serhey Rishkinov (38-16 MMA, 4-2 Combate).   Ahead of his Combate 167 bout at the Tokyo Bowl in Tokyo, Walad embraces the newfound spotlight, but also recognizes there’s much more work to be done – inside and outside the cage.   “I really appreciate everyone who’s supported us, and it has come from all over the world,” Anubis recently told the Tycoon Times through an Egyptian interpreter. “I need to work on my English skills so I can connect with more fans. It’s our goal to connect with fans, so that’s important to me. I’m enjoying it and taking everything one day at a time.”   At 30, Anubis is in the typical prime of a fighter. That skill, combined with Egypt’s sear

More Blood for the Blood Gods

Highland: Resurrection, Fight Organization, Montreal
Company profile by Thomas Forrester

We are looking for fighters in every weight class. Not Ronda Rousey types that want to pick their fights. Bangers, Smasher, Bleeders, like Nick Diaz, Jorge Masvidal, Donald Cerrone. Don’t fight in the QFCs, it’s a watered-down version of slap boxing with the local bully. Fight professionals. It is like the old Pride days, no drug test, no pre health check for CTI, just get in there and give us more Blood for the Blood Gods.
