Synchronicity 845 Fall Brawl

Event Preview: SYN 845 Fall Brawl
Synchronicity
2021-10-30, Tokyo, Tokyo Bowl
Author:Keyshawn Stacks

The Tokyo Bowl plays host to Fall Brawl where we will see over 90 thousand fans in attendance to witness some great heavyweight action with Sparxx, Branca, Rain, and Cruz Jr. all in the fight card. Jay Dog Simon vs Urameshi is the co-main event on the night and you can imagine Bathory will be watching that one with curious interest. This whole weekend is stacked so if you like these previews check out SYN 846 and 847 expected to drop this evening or tomorrow morning! The following does not represent the thoughts, views, or expectations of SYN or its shareholders rather it is an opinion based preview of a SYN fan.

#4 Branca vs Sparxx #3
Heavyweight Matchup

In one of the most anticipated events this upcoming weekend is none other than two of the biggest heavyweights in the world today. Joao Cajo Branca (21-10) the number 4 guy rated in the division looks to significantly jump up to the title picture when he takes on former title challenger and devestating knockout artist Gary Sparxx (25-6-1). Sparxx who is coming off at tile shot loss to the living legend Kilo Maluga believes he has it in him to jump bounce right back into the title picture if he is able to break down the "Baby-Face Fucka" who is currently riding a three fight winning streak. Sparxx had a hotly contested fued with Kilo Maluga with emotions flaring behind their press conference a few weeks back and to the surprise of many was unable to get the win against Kilo that night. Now, Branca who is looking to gain his fourth straight win believes he knows the weakness that Sparxx has that only 6 others have been able to grab. With 14 of his 21 victories coming by way of knockout, Branca is

undoubtedly a terrifying opponent to stand with as he does not just rely on his knockout power to finish his fights but is extremely technical as well. Despite that advantage that is going for him, his suspect chin is a concern for his growing fanbase so they hope their elite level striker can avoid all shots to the dome and put a beating on Sparxx that he has yet to

#6 Simon vs Urameshi #5
Lightweight Matchup

Two former Lightweight champions square off against one another this weekend as Jay "Dog" Simon (22-4) looks to gain a stronger foothold in the lightweight division as he battles "The Spirit Detective" Yusuke Urameshi (31-14-1) in what fight fans are calling the fight to watch for as the fight of the night, this should come as no surprise as Urameshi himself holds 17 FOTN awards and would certainly love to get another one. Between the knockout skill set of Urameshi and the submission expertise of Simon fight fans have to know that this fight has the potential to end anywhere the bout goes. Jay Simon, who recently got back on the winning side of things held the SFL title for so long and now that he is with SYN believes that he will eventually hold the SYN Lightweight title as well. Urameshi recognizes the great talent held within Simon but knows that his glory days are just ahead of him and formerly holding the SMASH championship was just a precursor to what lies in store for him. The current odds have a strong favorite for

Urameshi and believe he is going to be the one to pull this one out as his veteran expertise will be too much. This fight is quite possibly one of those fights that can go the entire distance but as we will most likely see it is going to be stopped pretty early, its just a matter of who slips up first. The lightweight division is stacked with phenomenal athletes and all around killers.

#6 Cruz Jr. vs Rain #8
Heavyweight Matchup

Perhaps the fight I am personally most excited for is the return of Heavy Rain (39-18-1) I have been following this guys career for a while and since his return to SYN has yet to find the winning side of things. On the verge of his 40th victory he fights the "Colossus" that is Jorge Cruz Jr. (31-16) an absolute giant of a man who is really hoping to get on the winning side of things. His matchup with Rain is no doubt going to be one that he will be hoping to put away in the very first round. With both guys highly skilled in knocking out their opponents and susceptible to being knocked out themselves this is a fight that you absolutely do not want to miss. Get your popcorn and drinks and use the bathroom with enough time to make sure that you are glued to your seat the moment the bell rings because it can last all but seconds with these two. With both guys coming off of losses after having climbed so far you almost get the sense that this is a do or die for them stepping into the cage this weekend. Despite being five years apart, Cruz Jr. believes he has just as much if not more experience than Rain and will shock the spectators in usual violent fashion. Heavy Rain has definitely felt at a loss recently but should be taking a moment of joy knowing that his friend "Opie" will be fighting earlier on the card as well! This is my prediction for knockout of the night to come and just a special wish of luck to both fighters as we know how much this fight means to both of you!

It will be a blast to see who what happens after the fallout of this matchup.

experience. In a lead up to this fight, at the Sosa vs Joy event, a journalist caught up to Kilo Maluga and asked him what he thought of this match which he quickly reminded that he has beaten both of these guys in the first round. There is undoubtedly controversy that always surrounds the heavyweight champion but knowing that sooner or later he is most likely going to mix it up with one of these two guys again has every SYN fan salivating waiting for more info to come down the pipeline.
