The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Tyson stuffs the takedown attempt from Kilimanjaro. Kilimanjaro gets slowly back to his feet. Kilimanjaro fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Tyson has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage. Tyson connects with a looping right hand.
It looks like Hector Kilimanjaro has been cut. Kilimanjaro throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Kilimanjaro is looking to clinch but Tyson is avoiding it.

Karellin tries to bum rush Cross with a series of wild strikes but Cross uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Karellin throws a series of punches but Cross moves out of range. Cross takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily. Karellin throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Cross. Karellin is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Karellin throws a one two combo.
Karellin really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Eagen is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Hawkins sees it coming and defends easily. The fighters are battling for position here. Hawkins manages to regain full guard. Nice work. Hawkins is avoiding any damage by keeping wrist control. Eagen must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Eagen postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Hawkins is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Eagen, into his guard. Hawkins seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Eagen does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Eagen looking for submissions from an awkward position here. Eagen looks gassed! Hawkins landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent. Hawkins working over Eagen with some ground and pound. Eagen looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable. Eagen throws a right hand that Hawkins ducks under and follows up with a left that Hawkins also avoids with ease. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Eagen has his takedown stuffed and Hawkins counters with a nice double leg into half guard. BC Hawkins has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of CJ Eagen. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Hawkins is trying to control the action in half guard but Eagen is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's two minutes gone in the round. Hawkins has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent. Hawkins is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Eagen knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. BC Hawkins overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. You can see the frustration on Eagen's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Hawkins trying to control the position but Eagen is working away.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Eagen is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Hawkins off and has taken his back! Hawkins defending nicely against the rear naked choke attempt.

Eagen stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Hawkins swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Eagen throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Eagen postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Hawkins is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Eagen, into his guard. Eagen trying to control the position.

Eagen defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Hawkins. Eagen throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Hawkins was covering up waiting for the punch and Eagen finishes the takedown easily into guard. Hawkins controlling Eagen's posture. Hawkins looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Eagen looking to pass the guard. Hawkins pushes Eagen off and gets back to his feet.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Watts throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Hong on the side of the head. The fighters circling - Watts throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Hong throws a low kick but Watts moves out of range easily. Watts avoids the body shot from Hong.
Watts cracks a nice hook into Hong's ribs. Hong misses with a hook to the body
and Watts cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Hong feints and then cracks Watts's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Watts down. Crunch! Hong slams his shin into Watts's torso. Watts is breathing heavily. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Hong looking to land some kicks to the body here.
Watts has a takedown stuffed. Hong chopping away at his opponent's legs.
Hong tries to land a front kick but Watts steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.

Hong dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Hong moves into range and connects with a jab. Hong throws a shot from downtown. Watts moves away and avoids it. Hong cracks Watts with a good jab. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Watts moves out of range of the leg kick from Hong. Hong wants to slow Watts down by chopping away at his legs. Watts misses with a double jab.

Watts takes one on the button. A nice leg kick lands there from Hong. A good leg kick by Hong. Hong ducks down and throws a big overhand right - it lands flush on the jaw, knocking Watts out cold! The fight is over!
