2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Josh Kistner! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Steve Willis! The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Daniel Franklin and Cecil Peabody.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Willis wants to clinch up but Kistner keeps it at a distance. Willis is looking to clinch. Kistner fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Willis swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Kistner counters with a right hand to the body. Willis throws a series of punches but Kistner moves out of range. Kistner showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Willis.
Kistner tests Willis's chin there with a solid looking shot. Willis falls off balance throwing a combination
and Kistner counters with a straight punch to the midsection. Kistner changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Willis tries to avoid it but Kistner manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Willis to the ground. Willis escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Kistner misses with a takedown attempt - Willis sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Willis gets caught flat footed, as Kistner shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. Willis wants to stand but Kistner is controlling the position. Kistner throws and elbow that misses. Willis uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Kistner's guard. Nice move by Willis! The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Kistner utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
That's one minute gone in the round. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Willis accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Kistner working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Willis. Willis missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Willis connects with a couple of short punches. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Willis throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Kistner works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Willis stopping the sweep attempt from Kistner. Kistner avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Willis has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Willis stops Kistner from standing up. Willis trying to control but Kistner is working from the bottom. Willis missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Kistner knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Willis on the ground.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Willis with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal. Kistner is breathing heavily. Willis working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Willis is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound. Willis is working Kistner over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes. Willis scores with a decent looking elbow strike. Willis throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Kistner works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Willis is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound. Willis with a nice head shot there. Kistner working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Willis. Willis makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard. The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Willis is looking to work some ground and pound but Kistner has wrist control. Willis trying to control the position from guard on top but Kistner is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Willis lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard. Willis postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head. Kistner keeping moving, preventing Willis from controlling successfully. Willis cracks Kistner with a solid left hand. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Willis postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Willis stands up over Kistner, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Steve Willis dominated that round. That's time! Kistner's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Nice uppercut lands for Kistner. That snapped Willis's head back.
Willis lands with a hook. Kistner tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head. Willis falls off balance throwing a combination
and Kistner counters with a nice body kick. Willis fails in his attempt to clinch. Willis misses with a double jab
and Kistner counters with a stiff right hand. Kistner loses concentration momentarily and Willis pounces with a three punch combo! Right, left, right! Kistner crashes face first to the mat, out cold! Willis finishes this one with a fantastically precise combo! Great stuff.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Tolborg takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Tolborg looks to score with a jab to the body but Dahlin is just out of range. Tolborg throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Sloppy strikes from Dahlin. Those never looked like landing. Tolborg jabs Dahlin right on the nose. Dahlin blinks but takes it well. Tolborg thows a body shot but no joy. Dahlin lands a big head kick that sends Tolborg tumbling to the mat! Dahlin takes a step backwards and waves Tolborg back to his feet - he wants the finish! Tolborg fails to land with a series of punches.
Dahlin connects with a body shot. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Tolborg misses with a wild body shot. Tolborg jabbing away but nothing is landing. Tolborg blocks a head kick by Dahlin.

Dahlin gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there. Dahlin tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Tolborg throws a big shot that misses. Dahlin takes a shot right to the bread basket. Tolborg avoids the head kick by Dahlin.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Tolborg fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Tolborg lands a left and a right that send Dahlin crashing to the mat, dazed. Tolborg thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
Dahlin is rocked! Dahlin takes a shot right to the bread basket. Dahlin is still on wobbly legs! Can Tolborg finish him? Tolborg lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Tolborg takes a swing at Dahlin's ribcage but misses. Tolborg is looking to wear down Dahlin with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.

Tolborg is throwing a storm of strikes! Right hook, left hook and follows it up with a spinning back fist! Dahlin hits the canvas like a rag doll! And just like that, this one is over!

It looks like Rhakesh Alhazred has been cut. Smith shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Alhazred as he avoids it easily. The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Smith checks a leg kick. Alhazred fails to land with a series of punches.
Alhazred pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Alhazred throws a left and a right that both miss
and Smith counters with a nice double leg into guard. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Smith wants to pass the guard but Alhazred is keeping the position. Smith throwing strikes from guard but Alhazred blocks nicely. Alhazred pulls Smith in close to his closed guard and prevents Smith from doing any damage or advancing position. Alhazred is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
That's one minute gone in the round. Smith stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Alhazred swivels though and keeps the full guard. Smith throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Smith is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound. Alhazred on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Alhazred tries to get out of the position. Smith with a flurry of punches that miss. Smith trying to control the position from guard on top but Alhazred is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Smith is working Alhazred over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action. Alhazred avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Smith trying to control the position from guard on top but Alhazred is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Alhazred looking for a sweep. Not yet Alhazred, not yet. Smith drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Alhazred manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Smith has Alhazred in his guard. Alhazred seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Alhazred trying to control but Smith is working from the bottom. Smith is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Alhazred postures up.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Smith wants to sweep but no luck. Smith wants to hit a switch here but Alhazred passes into full mount! Oh no, disaster for Smith there! The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Alhazred content just to control the position here. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Alhazred throws a lazy right hand but Smith sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. An inside leg kick from Smith misses. Smith misses with a low kick.

Alhazred rushes Smith with punches - Smith moves straight backwards instead of circling and gets clipped by the second strike... and the third... and the fourth! Oh, Smith goes down! Alhazred follows up with more strikes and the ref steps in to end the bout!

Tractor defends it nicely. Romerez shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Tractor sprawls well. Tractor wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. A combination from Tractor does no damage. Nice body kick there by Tractor. Romerez shoots for a takedown but Tractor saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. Penn stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush. Nice uppercut lands for Penn. That snapped Mike's head back.
Penn scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business. Penn slips a jab and a cross from Mike.
Penn comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range. Mike on the wrong end of a nice hook.

VonQulik looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. VonQulik is giving the impression that he's looking to ground and pound but he switches suddenly into a beautiful far side armbar! Kent is forced to tap! Great finish!
