A momentary lapse in concentration from Satan enables Burrows to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Satan manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

Spoakin feints a jab promting Vatanen to slip. Spoakin then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Vatanen slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.

and Spoakin counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Spoakin tries to bum rush Vatanen with a series of wild strikes but Vatanen uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Experiment V tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Nose is able to avoid easily.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Experiment V lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Nose has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Nose and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

That was a close round but I would say that Russian Experiment V will probably get the nod.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
