Mackey rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Justiniano moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Justiniano feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Petri moves forwards but jeffers connects with a nice, crisp jab.
louis jeffers seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Petri moves out of range of the strikes.
jeffers throws a jab but it's blocked by Petri.
jeffers stuffs the takedown attempt from Petri. Petri gets slowly back to his feet.

This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Petri. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.

Henderson closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the ropes.
Henderson scores with a nice hook to the head.
Henderson prevents the takedown attempt.
Henderson stops a takedown attempt from Upercut.
Upercut is working for takedown but Henderson is calmly controlling the position for now.
Tane Henderson has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Lance Upercut.
A nice left hand lands by Henderson.
Henderson is struggling to control the position.

Henderson breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Henderson instigates a clinch.
Henderson softening up his opponent with strikes, against the ropes.
Henderson lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Upercut backwards.

It looks like Lance Upercut has been cut.
The referee is keeping an eye on Henderson - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.

Henderson is trying to trip Upercut. He has hold of a leg but Upercut is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Henderson persists though and gets the takedown into guard.
Henderson lands a couple of decent looking shots.
Upercut looking for a sweep. Not yet Upercut, not yet.

Upercut is active off his back here, looking for submissions.

Henderson connects with a couple of short punches.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Henderson sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Upercut's guard.

Henderson takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.

Henderson slips a nice elbow through Upercut's hands, connecting with Upercut's forehead.

Henderson lands with a punch from half guard.
Henderson is nestled in close to Upercut, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

Upercut is rocked!
Henderson looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Upercut with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Upercut is still in real trouble! Can Henderson finish him?
Henderson is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound.
Henderson lands a big elbow - Upercut is out of it! He's waving his arms around but his eyes are closed and he's not intelligently defending himself - the ref has no choice but to jump in and stop the fight! This one is in the books! A TKO win for Henderson!
