Sinclair closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

WIE shoots for a double leg takedown but Nugget sprawls well. He's pushed WIE's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

WIE changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Nugget tries to avoid it but WIE manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Nugget to the ground. Nugget escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

I looks like Vileplume might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.

Despite being in the dominant position, Oddish Vileplume just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
