Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jason Sofa! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Rudy Pham! The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, George Francis and Tiny Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sofa throws a one two combo.
A right-left combo lands from Sofa. Sofa stuffs the takedown attempt from Pham. Pham gets slowly back to his feet. Sofa scores to the head and body with a nice combination! Pham scores a takedown into full mount! Sofa stops Pham from taking his back. Still, being mounted isn't any better. Sofa is trying to escape the mount.
Pham with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. The referee warns Sofa that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.

Pham is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Sofa can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
That's one minute gone in the round. Pham pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage. Pham is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Sofa can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.
Pham looks gassed! Sofa flailing away with punches but nothing is landing.
Sofa is looking to get to half guard. Pham avoids the attempt from Sofa to control. A nice elbow there by Pham. Sofa tries to get back to half guard but can't. Pham swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Sofa is now in Pham's guard. A big mistake from Pham there, giving up the dominant position!
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Pham looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Pham utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Pham is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! Sofa rolls with it to try and escape but Pham cranks on the arm and Sofa is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!

Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Bruce Conrad (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Blake Barnes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bruce Conrad had real problems making weight for this fight. After initially coming in at 137.5lbs, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. He made it but it will have taken a lot out of him to cut those extra few pounds. Blake Barnes will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Conrad looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. Barnes is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. The fighters are battling for position here. Barnes manages to regain full guard. Nice work. Conrad might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Conrad avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Conrad has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Conrad trying to stand up but can't free himself from Barnes's guard. Conrad looking to pass the guard. Conrad is breathing heavily.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bower tries to bum rush Davis with a series of wild strikes but Davis uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Bower clinches up against the cage. Bower tries to work over Davis's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target. Davis lands with a light punch inside.
It looks like Beau Bower has been cut. Davis is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Bower pulls him back up using the underhooks. Davis lands with a light punch inside. A head punch blocked on the inside by Davis. Davis looking for a takedown. Davis blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Davis takes a shot to the head. Bower breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Davis ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Bower moves away. Davis feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Bower sprawling to the canvas! Bower rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Davis finish him?!
Davis darts in and clinches Bower up against the cage. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Davis lands with a left to the head. Davis has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Bower is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Barry Davis. That's going to take a lot out of him. Nice body punch from Bower. Davis is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Bower pulls him back up using the underhooks. Davis pushes Bower off and gets back to his feet.

Davis's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button! Both guys are working to get underhooks. A short right from Davis. Bower wants to get back to striking at distance but Davis won't allow it.

Bower pushes Davis up against the cage in a clinch. Davis is trying to slow down the pace in the clinch, to catch his breath. Davis blocks a punch to the side of the head.

Bower swats away the attempt to clinch by Davis. Davis throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Bower wants to clinch up but Davis keeps it at a distance. Davis is looking to clinch but Bower is avoiding it.
Davis takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.

Davis closes the distance looking to clinch and Bower counters by clinching up. Davis lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage. Davis gets through Bower's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head. Davis lands a left hand.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Bower breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Bower closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Davis lands a left hand.

Bower keeps the fight on the outside. Bower clinches up with Davis and pushes him back against the cage. Davis lands a shoulder strike. Bower drops down looking for an ankle pick but Davis pulls his leg out and moves away.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Bower keeps the fight on the outside. Davis thows a body shot but no joy. Bower shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Davis but Davis pushes him off and we're back to square one. Davis missing with a left hand there. Bower was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Barry Davis seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Bower ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Davis moves away. A shot to de liver by Davis. Beautiful body shot. Davis lands with a nice body punch. Davis sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs. Davis on the wrong end of a nice hook.

Bower passes the guard and advances to mount! Davis tries to get back to half guard but can't. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Davis regains half guard. Davis makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Davis. Davis wants to sweep here but Bower controlling him for the moment. Davis punching to the body, from the bottom. Bower preventing the sweep. Davis is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched. Bower's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button! A bit of stalling here from Davis.

Davis fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Bower manages to avoid it. Bower scores with a jab. Davis acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
Davis is rocked! Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Bower throws a body kick that digs right into the meat. Oh Davis is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Bower throws an overhand right that has Davis reeling! Bower follows up with a more punches and Davis is out cold! This one is all over!

A punch combination from Caswell misses. STAT is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. Caswell looks to land a combination but STAT avoids it well. STAT doesn't manage to clinch there - Caswell circles away.
A swing and a miss from Caswell. STAT closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. STAT is just sitting in half guard, waiting for something to happen. STAT is trying to work for a kimura but Caswell is defending well.

It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while. STAT stands up and we're back to a striking position. STAT throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight! Stockbridge shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Datsik as he jumps to the side. Datsik lands a big uppercut and Stockbridge crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Stockbridge looks OK. Datsik stands up from half guard. Stockbridge throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Datsik. Datsik throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd. Viacheslav Datsik seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. This has been an exciting period of action! Stockbridge takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?

That's two minutes gone in the round. Datsik throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Some bone on bone action there as Stockbridge checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one. Stockbridge takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Stockbridge moves out of range as Datsik strikes. Datsik paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button. Datsik cracks Stockbridge with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Datsik has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Stockbridge to stand back up! Stockbridge tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Datsik swivels and escapes. Stockbridge is holding his hands too far apart here. Datsik throws a hard, straight punch right down the pipe and BOOM! Stockbridge is out! That punch landed square on the jaw - what a shot!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the light heavyweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Matt Romano! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Duke Nukem! The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Stewart Dunkirk and Alan Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Nukem stuffs the takedown attempt from Romano. Romano gets slowly back to his feet. Romano misses with a takedown attempt - Nukem sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Nukem pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Romano shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Nukem's guard. Nukem has his hands on Romano's head, controlling the position. Romano wants to control from the top but Nukem keeps moving. Romano drops back looking for a leg! Nukem is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Nukem manages to kick Romano off! Romano jumps back into Nukem's guard. Romano is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. Romano tries to free his leg and advance position but Nukem is retaining full guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Nukem is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Nukem holds on and takes a little breather. Nukem wants to sweep but no luck.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fight is doing enough on the ground. Nice sprawl there from Nukem as Romano shoots in. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Matt Romano. That's going to take a lot out of him. Nukem tries to close the distance and clinch but Romano swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Nukem doesn't succeed with the takedown and Romano counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. Romano seems to be looking for submissions.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. The fighters are battling for position here. Nukem manages to regain full guard. Nice work. Romano is breathing heavily. Nukem is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Romano is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Romano is looking to sinch up a gullotine here but Nukem pulls his head out easily. Nukem winds up and cracks Romano with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Nukem content to sit in half guard and control for a moment. Nukem uses his free foot to push down on Romano's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Romano. Romano is desperately trying to improve his position but Nukem has a good base and remains in mount. Romano slips a leg in and gets back to half guard. Romano wants to control but Nukem is keeping busy.
Nukem scores with a couple of good hammerfists. Romano gets back to full guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Nukem is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. Nukem preventing the sweep.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Nukem trying to control but Romano is working from the bottom. Nukem with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal. Romano is trying to keep Nukem in close.
Nukem postures up and lands some nice ground and pound. Nukem trying to control the position from guard on top but Romano is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Romano is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up. Nukem shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away. Romano gets back to half guard. Romano is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Romano moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard. Romano has his feet on Nukem's thighs here. He's pushed Nukem off and worked for a very quick armbar from the bottom! He's flipped onto his stomach and he's cranking hard on the arm! Nukem screams in pain and taps out! This one is all over!
