Ma Kali's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, ONLY FEAR OF DEATH. I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Esa Notkonen was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Ma Kali scores with a nice looking left hook and follows it up with an uppercut!

and Salsa counters with a nice double leg into side control. Hester won't be happy with that. Hester takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better. Hester looks to move to half guard but instead Salsa has passed into mount! Damn! The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
Salsa jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Hester manages to avoid the submission attempt. Salsa in side control, just content to control the action for now. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Hester is trying to improve his position.

Salsa stands up and we're back to a striking position. Hester lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh. Hester fails in his attempt to clinch.
Salsa looking for a takedown here - he's got it. Hester can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Salsa controls the pace. Hester is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Hester keeping moving, preventing Salsa from controlling successfully. Hester looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Salsa puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard. Salsa wants to stand up but Hester has a hold of him and won't allow it. Salsa thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Hester's head.

Hester makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Hester. Salsa not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
Salsa decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Hester, up you get! Salsa looks gassed! Hester goes for a high kick. It partially lands. Hester fails with an attempt to clinch.
Salsa tries to keep at a distance but Hester has taken the fight into the clinch. Hester connects with a nasty looking knee right to Salsa's face.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Hester unloads a knee to the mid-section. Salsa lets out a prehistoric sounding urrrrgh. A short body shot lands from Hester as the two fighters clinch.

Hester keeps control of Salsa as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. Salsa is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Hester pulls him back up using the underhooks. Salsa seems to have recovered his senses. Hester swings away with an uppercut that misses.

Salsa escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Hester gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Salsa has Hester pulled in close to control his posture. Salsa is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Hester wants to stand and escape but instead Salsa has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard. Salsa wants to control from the top but Hester keeps moving.
Salsa decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.

and Salsa counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Salsa trying to control the position from guard on top but Hester is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Salsa forces his way into half guard. Salsa controlling the pace.

Salsa shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Salsa showed some decent athleticism there.
Salsa decides to return to a standing position. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Salsa misses with a head kick.
Salsa throws a half hearted mid kick. Hester clinches but Salsa breaks the clinch
and Salsa counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Salsa. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Chips Salsa dominated that round. The cut man is working on Chips Salsa's cut. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the ring so we can get back down to business. This is the final round!

Hester throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.

Salsa happy to just control the position for now. Hester is looking to reverse the position. Salsa cracks Hester with an elbow. That is naaassty. Hester is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Salsa is controlling him well. Hester sneaks back into half guard.

Salsa goes for an armbar but Hester turns quickly into his guard - lovely anticipation from Hester. Hester wants to stand but Salsa has a closed guard, so he can't escape.

and Salsa counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Hester's guard now. Salsa has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Salsa advances to half guard. This has been an exciting period of action! Salsa has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount. Chips Salsa has got the better of the ground game so far. Salsa won't let Hester get back to his feet... He wants to keep the fight where it is for now.

And that's the end of the fight! Chips Salsa comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Salsa has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

Evans tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Nice uppercut lands for Tooth. That snapped Evans's head back.
Tooth thuds his right hand into Evans's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.

Powers falls to the canvas face first and the referee dives in to stop the fight! Saturn wins by TKO!

That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
