The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No joy there for Wells, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Wells lands with a shot to the body.
Wells throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Conner.
Conner throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Wells's waist but Wells gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Conner off to one side.
Oooh a lovely combination from Wells sends Conner down but not out. Wells dives into side control looking to finish.

Conner is rocked!
Wells wants to lay and pray for a moment but Conner keeps working.
Conner is still in real trouble! Can Wells finish him?
Conner is looking to reverse the position.

Wells tries to move into full mount but can't pass Conner's legs.
Conner seems to have recovered his senses.
