The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Larsen showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Marte.
Marte looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this! Marte misses with a double jab.
Larsen drives through with a takedown into guard. Larsen advances to half guard. Larsen throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Larsen tries to stand and escape but Marte actually recovers to full guard. Larsen pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Marte is keeping the position for now. Marte escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Larsen gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
That's one minute gone in the round. Larsen stands up from Marte's guard - Larsen perhaps looking for a knockout. Horrible takedown by Larsen or perhaps it was just good defense by Marte which made him look bad. Ricardo Marte seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Larsen feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position. Larsen thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Marte tries to land a sweep but no joy.

The crowd are going absolutely nuts! Wow, what a knockout!

Black throws a strike but Raspil avoids it easily and moves to full guard. Black is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Black moves forwards but Raspil connects with a nice, crisp jab. Black is still on wobbly legs! Can Raspil finish him?

That was a close second round but I would say that George Raspil will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on Mike Thomas Black's cut. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!

Raspil is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.

Despite being in the dominant position, Mike Thomas Black just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Raspil keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Raspil misses with a straight left. Raspil fails with an attempt to clinch.
Raspil moves in looking to clinch but Black pushes him off. Raspil gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Raspil keeping moving, preventing Black from controlling successfully. Black controls the pace of the fight for a moment. Black stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Raspil swivels though and keeps the full guard. Black slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. Black moving around in side mount but really he's just happy to control for now. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Raspil is pushing Black's head away, looking to escape. Black manages to hold on to the position though.
And that's the end of the fight! Mike Thomas Black comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Black has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Peroche keeps the fight on the outside. Peroche scores with a one two! Gardman had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes. Peroche lands a two punch combo.
Peroche jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.
Peroche moves into range and connects with a jab. A jab from Peroche finds it's way through Gardman's defenses. Peroche stalks Gardman and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into Gardman's face. Gardman staggers backwards, shaken. Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Peroche!

This has been an exciting period of action! Peroche scores with a straight right hand, right through his opponent's guard. Gardman fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Peroche lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Gardman backs up against the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Charles Fowler! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Solomon Ares! The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Chris Downing and Cecil Peabody.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ares blocks a jab. Ares tries to clinch but Fowler is having none of it. Ares has managed to clinch.
Ares breaks the clinch.
Ares tries to land a front kick but Fowler steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed. Fowler stuffs the takedown attempt from Ares. Ares gets slowly back to his feet. Ares misses with a double jab.
Ares shoots in and drives through. Fowler sprawls well. Ares tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Fowler paws at him with a jab and circles away. Ares fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Charles Fowler has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Solomon Ares. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Fowler throws a hook but Ares avoids it easily. Some wild striking there from Ares.

That's one minute gone in the round. No luck for Ares with that takedown attempt. Fowler avoids a kick to the body.
Ares rushes Fowler and presses him up against the cage. Fowler tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Ares smiles and moves away.
Ares checks a leg kick nicely. Ares rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Fowler moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Ares is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Ares bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Ares working away. Ares goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Fowler has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Ares but great work by Fowler. Ares looks gassed! Fowler trying to control the action but Ares is working from the bottom. Fowler tries for a kimura but Ares is defending well. Ares is trying to get back to half guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Ares is trying to control Fowler's posture but Fowler avoids it.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Ares tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Fowler wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. Ares is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. Ares is trying to control Fowler's posture but Fowler avoids it.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Ares avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Fowler could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Ares fails to land the takedown.
That's four minutes gone in the round. There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Fowler slips a jab and a cross from Ares.
Ares is looking to clinch. Ares thows a body shot but no joy. Ares thows a body shot but no joy. No luck for Ares with that takedown attempt. Ares tries to close the distance and clinch but Fowler swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Fowler pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Ares tries to close the distance and clinch up but Fowler swats him away and circles back towards the center. Ares misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Solomon Ares dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Ares has his takedown stuffed and Fowler counters with a straight punch to the midsection. Ares is breathing heavily. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Ares misses with a head kick.

That's one minute gone in the round. Fowler closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Ares blocks a body shot from Fowler. Ares prevents a body shot from Fowler. An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Fowler. Ares gets the body lock takedown. After a quick scramble, Fowler regains guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Fowler wants to sweep but no luck. Ares has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Fowler to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Ares is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Fowler pulls down on the head and he's put Ares to sleep! This one is all over!
