The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Some wild striking there from Barbosa.
MAN tries a head kick but it misses.
MAN shoots in looking for a takedown. Barbosa tries to sprawl out of it but MAN keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the ropes. Barbosa manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Barbosa misses with a wild combination.
MAN moves into the clinch. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. MAN stalling in the clinch but Barbosa improves position. Barbosa jumps guard and drags MAN to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back. Barbosa is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a tringle but MAN frees his head nicely. Oh but Barbosa has switched to an armbar! MAN is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Deschain shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Purcell but Purcell pushes him off and we're back to square one. Deschain shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Deschain was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! Purcell's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up. Deschain looking to control and managing it successfully. Purcell working to try and regain half guard.

Deschain prevents Purcell from getting back to his feet. Purcell is looking to stand back up but Deschain counters by passing into half guard. Oops... bit sloppy there by Purcell. The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves. Deschain cracks Purcell with a big right hand but Purcell just smiles back at him and invites him to have another go.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Purcell trying to remain calm as Deschain controls from the top position. Purcell really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Deschain. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Deschain stands up. Purcell swinging wilding here.

He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Deschain is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Diaz jabs Sanchez right on the nose. Sanchez blinks but takes it well. Sanchez takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Diaz throws a right and a left that both miss. Diaz bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Sanchez takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better. Diaz tries to score with some ground and pound. Sanchez controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage. Diaz connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Sanchez some visible discomfort.
Sanchez is rocked! Sanchez is looking to regain half guard here but Diaz keeps moving and retains side control. Sanchez is still in real trouble! Can Diaz finish him? Diaz scoring with punches from side control. Sanchez is looking to reverse the position. Sanchez regains half guard. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! The bell rings for round one and we are underway! pink gets caught flat footed, as Bombs shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. pink wants to sweep here but Bombs controlling him for the moment. pink throws some sloppy strikes off his back.
Bombs slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. pink tries to bench press Bombs off him but Bombs keeps the position. The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring. Bombs looks up at the clock and then as pink takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Bombs smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!
Bombs working away. Bombs thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. pink tries to get back to half guard but can't. pink regains half guard there - taking advantage of Bombs's attempt to lay and pray for a moment. pink is trying to stand.

That's one minute gone in the round. Bombs passes the guard and advances to mount! pink working to try and regain half guard.
pink is persisting with the attempt to improve his position. pink regains half guard. Both fighters really going for it on the ground here! Bombs is breathing heavily. Bombs is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so pink is just riding it out for now. Bombs eventually gives up the hold. Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Bombs in particular looking to stall.
That's two minutes gone in the round. A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. pink moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard. pink looking to sweep here. No luck so far. pink trying to strike from the bottom but really, it's not the best position to be doing that from! Bombs postures up in pink's guard and throws a big left but pink blocks it. pink will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.

pink bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Bombs's guard. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as pink accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. pink throwing strikes but missing. pink trying to control the position from guard on top but Bombs is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Bombs looking to hit a scissor sweep but pink is one step ahead there. pink drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Bombs dives on top into guard. Bombs trying to control but pink is working from the bottom. Bombs passes into half guard. pink is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Kano Bombs will probably get the nod. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
pink doesn't succeed with the takedown and Bombs counters with a takedown into side control. Bombs has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand. pink tries to clinch but fails miserably and Bombs decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in pink's guard. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. pink scores with a short punch from the bottom. pink had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Bombs is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. pink Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Bombs's back instead. pink gets his hands free as Bombs looks to control. It really doesn't seem like the step up in weight is hurting Bombs here at all. He's more than holding his own against the bigger man. Bombs manages to reverse the position and now he's in pink's guard. Nice work there by Bombs.

Bombs is looking for a kimura but pink is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Bombs to get the leverage. pink manages to escape and get back to his feet! Bombs fails miserably with a takedown attempt.

Bombs is looking to take this fight into the clinch. pink tries to work over Bombs's front leg with a kick but Bombs checks it. pink clinches up with Bombs and pushes him back against the ropes. Bombs looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. pink creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots. Bombs sneaks back into half guard. pink takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. pink tries to pass the half guard into mount. Bombs knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.
That's one minute gone in the round. pink is trying to advance to mount but he's lost his balance and Bombs reverses the position - he's now on top in pink's guard. Bombs wanted to stand there but pink had control of the position. pink looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.

Bombs gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Bombs postures up in pink's guard and throws a big left but pink blocks it. pink looking to hit a scissor sweep but Bombs is one step ahead there. pink has a closed guard, preventing Bombs from standing up. pink is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Snakeshoes tries to clinch but Strife moves out of range. Strife fails with the takedown. Snakeshoes gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves. Strife advances to half guard. Snakeshoes misses with some strikes from the bottom.

Mohorovic throws a series of punches but Biselton avoids them all with ease. Mohorovic catches Biselton with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!
