The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Horrible takedown by Aoki or perhaps it was just good defense by Nelson which made him look bad.

Aoki shoots in and bounces Nelson off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.

Aoki is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.

Aoki has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Nelson is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Aoki.

Nelson is working to tighten is grip on Aoki's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Aoki has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but Nelson is really squeezing tight and eventually Aoki passes out! Nelson breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!

Takanori throws a wild combination but nothing lands.

Takanori keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
The crowd cheers as Takanori lands an impressive looking overhand right. Gump doesn't seem phased though.

Gump shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Gump lands a nice looking kick to the body. Takanori takes a step back to recover.
Takanori walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Gump checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Forest Gump.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Gump, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

Robertson kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genuis that is Of Wolf And Man-Metallica. Noguiera has chosen Someday as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Cherry pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Dude taps out and this one is all over!

Oh Vicksone is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Hurter throws an overhand right from the outside, which connects and sends Vicksone stumbling backwards into the cage! Vicksone bounces back off the cage towards Hurter, who cracks him with a two punch combination that drops him to his knees! Hurter lands two more shots before the referee has chance to intervene - what a finish! Hurter celebrates with his corner as the crowd cheer loudly.

McDrunken shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Ekaku pinned against the cage. Ekaku gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Hakuin Ekaku has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Tyler McDrunken.
McDrunken throws a lazy right hand but Ekaku sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
