The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Edward closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Edward thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed YourLuck's head.
Edward tries to pass to full mount but YourLuck defends it.

Edward is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Edward wants to lay and pray for a moment but YourLuck keeps working.
YourLuck is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
YourLuck taking some punishment here, with Edward in his half guard.
Edward knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for YourLuck on the ground.
Edward wants to stand up but YourLuck has a hold of him and won't allow it.
Edward tries to pass to full mount but YourLuck defends it.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

Edward looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.

Edward is trying to get back to his feet now but his leg is trapped.
Edward wants to take a breather but YourLuck is having none of it.

Nice takedown defense from TYSON. No joy for Powers on that attempt.

TYSON fails to land with a series of punches.

TYSON digs a good hook to Powers's body.
This has been an exciting period of action!
TYSON lands with a right hand.
TYSON scores with a sloppy right hand. Powers should have avoided that one.
TYSON fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Powers.
TYSON listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut.
TYSON lands an overhand right.
TYSON shoots in for a double leg but Powers sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Powers avoids a punch combination nicely.
TYSON lands with a big left! Powers is wobbled badly! TYSON comes in with a flurry of punches and drops Powers to the floor. The ref jumps in to save him from unneccessary punishment.

Hunt avoids a kick to the body.
Hunt avoids the body shot from Fade.
Hunt checks a low kick from Fade.
Fade misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Slow Fade seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Fade throws a sloppy head kick and Hunt moves out of range easily.
Fade misses with a body shot.
Fade tries to bum rush Hunt with a series of wild strikes but Hunt uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Hunt misses with a hook. Fade ducked under it nicely.
Fade fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Hunt on the side of the head.
Fade lands a nice shot that snaps Hunt's head back.
Hunt takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Hunt shoots in but no luck this time.
Hunt takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.

Fade wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Fade swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
No joy there for Fade, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Fade lands a left and a right that sends Hunt crashing to the canvas! Fade dives into mount looking to finish!

Hunt is rocked!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Fade looking to control and managing it successfully.
Oh Hunt is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Hunt can't escape the position.
Hunt seems to have got his legs back now.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Hunt tries to lock up and control but Fade gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Slow Fade dominated that round.

Hunt misses with a takedown attempt - Fade sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Horrible takedown by Hunt or perhaps it was just good defense by Fade which made him look bad.
Slow Fade is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

A combination from Fade does no damage.
Fade thuds a left hand into Hunt's body.
A lazy left from Fade finds it's target.
Fade tests Hunt's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Hunt tries to clinch up.
Hunt seems to be squinting his left eye. Perhaps he got a poke in that previous exchange. Fade shows no mercy and swarms him with a barage of strikes! Hunt is backing up but Fade catches him with a final right hook that drops him! Hunt covers up and the referee steps in to end the fight! Fade Jumps to his feet and flashes his guns to the crowd. Oh yeah, baby! How'd you like them apples?!

Halperin changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Armageddon tries to avoid it but Halperin manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Armageddon to the ground. Armageddon escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Alistair Armageddon has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Daniel Halperin.
Armageddon comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Daniel Halperin seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Bomberman is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Youth is just riding it out for now. Bomberman eventually gives up the hold.

Youth has one foot on Bomberman's thigh - he pushes off and manages to get back to his feet.
Youth looks to land a combination but Bomberman avoids it well.
Wasted Youth seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Bomberman tries to clinch but Youth moves out of range.

A slow jab from Dresden misses its intended target.
Dresden avoids a punch combination nicely.
Jab, jab by Dresden - just one landing.
Dresden misses with a looping right.
Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Burgemeister.
Dresden dodges the punch combination from Burgemeister.
Dresden throws a right hand that Burgemeister ducks under and follows up with a left that Burgemeister also avoids with ease.
Burgemeister connects with a good straight punch right through the guard and follows up with a right hook and a left hook! That last one sent Dresden tumbling to the canvas! Burgemeister pours on the pressure with more strikes and the referee has no hesitation diving in to stop the fight! Dresden was done - good stoppage!

Hallow connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Chimpo momentarily.

It looks like Johnny Chimpo has been cut.

Chimpo pushes Hallow up against the cage in a clinch.
Chimpo misses with some punches.
Hallow scores with an uppercut up the middle.
Hallow tries for a takedown but Chimpo manages to get underhooks.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Chimpo looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Hallow keeps control of the position for the meantime.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Chimpo throws and elbow that misses. Hallow uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Chimpo's guard. Nice move by Hallow!

Chimpo manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

mousasi shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Klein's guard.

mousasi is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
mousasi stands up over Klein, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.

mousasi is working to tighten is grip on Klein's neck. He's isolated an arm and is working for an arm triangle. Klein has recognised the danger and is trying to turn with the submission but mousasi is really squeezing tight and eventually Klein passes out! mousasi breaks the hold and jumps onto the cage to celebrate! Submission of the night, I'd say!
