Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Nick Thompson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jesse James (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Thompson comes to the cage accompanied by Kreator - Extreme Aggressions. Jesse James told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Thompson is looking to clinch but James is avoiding it.
Thompson tries to clinch there but James circles away.
James moves out of range of the body kick. Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Thompson!
Thompson fails with a takedown attempt.
Thompson gets the takedown into side control.
Thompson wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by James, who protects the arm well. Thompson wants to control but James is keeping him busy.

Thompson stands up and we're back to a striking position. Thompson closes the distance but James moves to the side
and James counters by moving into the clinch. Thompson wants to break free but James has control.
Thompson is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.
James decides to pull guard. Thompson stops James from standing up. Thompson trying to control the position from guard on top but James is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Thompson gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.
James looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Thompson! Thompson is breathing heavily. James wants to control the pace but Thompson is squirming around nicely.

Thompson tries to buck James off but he can't manage it. Thompson tries to hold on but James postures up. Thompson tries to reverse the position but James maintains control. Thompson wants to hold on but James pushes him away.
James is standing up out of mount! Strange tactic there - he must really want this one on the feet! James circles away from the clinch attempt
and James counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by James. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! James is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

James looking to control the position here, rather than advance. James working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Thompson's head.
Thompson throws his legs up looking for a submission but James uses it to pass to side control.
Thompson is trying to control James's posture but James avoids it. Thompson is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because James is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.

Thompson is looking for a sweep. James working away. Thompson is looking to reverse the position. A lull in the action here as James stalls from top position. James's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Thompson wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jesse James dominated that round. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin!
A jab lands there for James. Thompson misses with a double jab.
Thompson tries to clinch but fails miserably
and James counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Thompson wants to get back to his feet but James is in a dominant position and won't allow it. James must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
James decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Thompson, up you get! James with a poor takedown and Thompson counters with a lovely shot to the body. Thompson tries to clinch but James moves away enabling James to counter with a crisp jab. Thompson shoots in and drives through. James sprawls well. Thompson tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but James paws at him with a jab and circles away.
James closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - James lands in his opponent's guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. James stops Thompson from standing up. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

James escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Thompson misses with a knee to the head. Thompson trying to land knees to the body.
The pace really dropping off here, momentarily. James fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Thompson manages to break the clinch.
James wants to clinch up but Thompson keeps it at a distance. James has a takedown stuffed. Nick Thompson has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jesse James. Thompson throws a head kick that misses.
James has closed the distance and engaged Thompson in a clinch.

Nick Thompson seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

James is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot. Thompson keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. A slapping leg kick lands for Thompson.
James is looking to clinch but Thompson is avoiding it.
Thompson shoots in looking for a takedown. James tries to sprawl out of it but Thompson keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. James manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. James shoots in for a takedown but Thompson shows good takedown defense. Like a baseball bat into the meat of his leg there - nice leg kick by Thompson.
James throws a sloppy head kick and Thompson moves out of range easily. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Jesse James showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!
Good exchange - Thompson coming out on top.

Thompson is stalling here. James is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Thompson seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and James has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work.

James fails in his attempt to clinch. Thompson is looking to wear down James with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment. Thompson lands with a head kick! That's gotta hurt. Thompson rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but James moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Thompson stuffs the takedown.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. James advances to half guard. Thompson tries to kick James off but James keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.
Thompson looking for submissions from an awkward position here. James wants to lay and pray for a moment but Thompson keeps working. James with the ground and pound but Thompson uses the opportunity to regain guard.
And that's the end of the fight! Jesse James comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I've got James winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

Liddell forces Dante back against the cage and clinches. Nice body punch from Liddell. An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Liddell. Liddell scores with a hook to the body.
Liddell pulls guard effortlessly. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Liddell has his foot on Dante's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Dante works his way back into a safe position though.
Liddell looking to try and escape his hips here, looking for a submission. It looks like he's going for a triangle but Dante is defending well. Liddell quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Dante has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Liddell celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.

aguilera using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Blaze has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.
aguilera pushes Blaze back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head. aguilera lands a body shot. aguilera digs a right hand underneath Blaze's ribcage. Blaze let out a lung full of air as it connected. Blaze goes for a takedown in the clinch but aguilera prevents it.
Blaze is trying to work for a single leg takedown but aguilera pulls him back up using the underhooks. Blaze drops down looking for an ankle pick but aguilera pulls his leg out and moves away.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Danny Blaze. That's going to take a lot out of him. Blaze misses with a takedown attempt - aguilera sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Blaze tries to move into range but aguilera moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.

Nice body punch from aguilera. aguilera lands a nice looking hook to the body, against the cage. aguilera scores a nice knee to the body.

Some stalling of biblical proportions here from aguilera. aguilera lands punches inside but they're not really causing much damage. aguilera stalls. aguilera misses with the head strike.
aguilera lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage. aguilera taking a breather. aguilera lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Blaze or not.

Still in the clinch, aguilera scores with a nice short uppercut. aguilera working on landing some head shots here - that one got through nicely. An uppercut to the body lands inside from aguilera. aguilera's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not. Blaze has aguilera pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. aguilera manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing. aguilera throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges. Blaze tries for a takedown. No joy.
aguilera escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. aguilera fakes the leg kick and cracks Blaze in the body.
The fight moves into the clinch position. aguilera digs a right hand into Blaze's ribs. Those have got to be taking their toll on Blaze's gas tank. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
fistina aguilera dominated that round. The cut man is working on Danny Blaze's cut. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
aguilera throws a nice outside leg kick.
aguilera lands a high kick to the side of Blaze's head that stuns him and send him tumbling down to the canvas! aguilera dives into guard, looking to finish. Oh Blaze is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
aguilera gets to his feet. Blaze looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son! Blaze shoots in but aguilera avoids the takedown attempt easily. aguilera lands a front kick. Blaze seems to have got his legs back now. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Blaze avoids the head kick by aguilera.

aguilera rushes Blaze and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Blaze takes a shot to the head. Knees to the body from aguilera.
aguilera effectively controlling the action here. aguilera receives a warning from the referee for stalling. aguilera with an attempt at a knee that misses.

Rokhan moves into range and clinches up with Rabbit. Rabbit is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though. Rabbit tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Rokhan smiles and moves away.
Shah Rokhan seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Rabbit closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Rokhan to the mat! Rokhan manages to get full guard.

Rabbit uses his free foot to push down on Rokhan's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Rokhan. Rabbit lands with some strikes.
And that's the end of the fight! I would just about give that final round to Shah Rokhan. I think Rokhan has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Striker Grappling! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Matt Kai! The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Cecil Peabody and Robert Twigg.

Grappling ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Kai moves away. Kai uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Grappling.
Kai throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Grappling's waist but Grappling gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Kai off to one side. A punch lands to the side of Kai 's head but he takes it in his stride. Kai has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Grappling finds it's way round the side to connect with Kai's head. Kai tries to clinch but Grappling moves out of range. Grappling throws a series of punches but Kai avoids them all with ease. Kai tries to clinch up. Grappling looks to score with a jab to the body but Kai is just out of range. Grappling misses with a wild combination.
Kai on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Grappling scores with the left hand. Kai knows he should have avoided that one. Kai dodges the punch combination from Grappling.
Kai misses with a takedown attempt - Grappling sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

Kai tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Grappling paws at him with a jab and circles away. Grappling bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Kai's head. Kai takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Grappling connects with a good right hand that stumbles Kai. Kai circles away out of range and recomposes himself. Grappling lands a jab to the nose. Kai tries to clinch up. Grappling lands a nice looking body shot.
Kai looks gassed! Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Kai is looking to clinch but Grappling is avoiding it.
Good standup being displayed there by Grappling as he connects with a hook. Grappling feints and then cracks Kai's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Kai down. Grappling connects with a body shot.

Grappling cracks Kai with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Grappling has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Kai to stand back up!
