I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Nick Ghirardi was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ghirardi tries to clinch but Branch is having none of it.
Branch stuffs the takedown attempt from Ghirardi. Ghirardi gets slowly back to his feet.
Branch misses with a double jab.
Ghirardi tries to clinch up but Branch circles away and keeps his distance.
Ghirardi throws a right and a left that Branch avoids nicely.

Johnny Tran struggled to make weight for this fight. He only made it down to 148.0lbs at the first attempt and had to take the additional two hours to make the official bout weight. Let's see how much it's taken out of him. Johnny Tran told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!
