The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hoover shoots in for a double leg but Owens sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Owens is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Hoover is just riding it out for now. Owens eventually gives up the hold.

I think Fanning might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to m.o.v.e - Rage your dream. The crowd seem to be enjoying El Toro's choice of entrance music: Bulls On Parade. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?
