5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Dino Medvidovic! The judges for this bout are Yuuki Gou, Yasuomi Hirokawa and Tatsuya Matsuyama.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Acula drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Medvidovic tries to buck Acula off but Acula is having none of it. Acula trying to control the action but Medvidovic is working from the bottom. Medvidovic can't do much from the bottom here. Medvidovic is trying to escape and get back to his feet. Medvidovic tries to buck Acula off but Acula is having none of it.
That's one minute gone in the round. Medvidovic regains half guard. The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves. Medvidovic looking for submissions off his back.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Acula sets himself and throws a head kick that knocks Medvidovic to the ground! Acula dives into full mount looking to finish!
Medvidovic is rocked! Acula postures up and connects with a big shot that has rocked Medvidovic badly. He's trying desperately to grab hold of Acula around the waist but Acula pushes him off and unloads with more strikes, forcing the referee to jump in and save him! Acula is the winner by TKO! Acula jumps onto the ropes and shouts into the camera. "We did it momma!"

2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Kazunori Maeda! The judges for this bout are Hirohito Nitta, Yasuomi Hirokawa and Taro Takaoka.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Olbo fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Olbo looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this! Maeda fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Olbo. Maeda lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Maeda.
It looks like Kevin Olbo has been cut. Maeda closes the distance and lands a one-two. Maeda throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd. Olbo steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Maeda. That one must have hurt. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Maeda scores with a hook. Maeda looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Maeda with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Maeda swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

A left and a right from Maeda both land. Nice combination. Olbo takes a kick to the side of the head. Maeda moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination. Maeda throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
Olbo on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Maeda. Maeda obviously looking to wear him down.
That's one minute gone in the round. Olbo is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Maeda. Maeda throws a series of strikes that have Olbo backpedaling.

Maeda throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Olbo. A good leg kick by Maeda. A right-left combo lands from Maeda. A punch combination from Maeda misses. Maeda circles away from the clinch attempt.
Maeda throws a series of punches but Olbo moves out of range. Olbo tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him. Olbo throws a leg kick that is checked and Maeda counters with a thumping low kick. Olbo looks for the body kick but Maeda saw that one coming. Olbo dodges the punch combination from Maeda.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Olbo shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Olbo showed some decent athleticism there. Maeda is trying to stand.

Olbo looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet. Olbo with a couple of short strikes. A nice elbow there by Olbo.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Maeda holding onto his opponent's waist for dear life, as Olbo tries to land some strikes to get him to release his grip.
Maeda is looking to get to half guard. Olbo with shots to the head and body - Maeda looks very uncomfortable down there. Maeda is looking to improve his position but Olbo isn't that keen on the idea. Olbo wants to control the pace but Maeda is squirming around nicely. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. The referee warns Maeda that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.

Olbo shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Maeda but Maeda pushes him off and we're back to square one. Maeda throws out a powerful jab. Olbo on the wrong end of a nice hook. Kevin Olbo is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Maeda throws a head kick that Olbo semi-blocks.
Maeda scores with a one two! Olbo had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes. Maeda throws a quick inside leg kick. Maeda throws a series of punches but Olbo moves out of range. Kazunori Maeda seems to be getting the better of the standup. A jab from Maeda does it's job there. Maeda rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Olbo moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Maeda's corner calls for a 1,2 combination and Maeda duly obliges. Horrible takedown by Olbo or perhaps it was just good defense by Maeda which made him look bad. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. The fighters circle momentarily. Maeda darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch. Olbo on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Maeda. Maeda obviously looking to wear him down.

Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Olbo shoots in but Maeda avoids the takedown attempt easily. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Kevin Olbo. That's going to take a lot out of him. Olbo takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh. A nice inside leg kick there by Maeda. That's going to slow Olbo down. Kazunori Maeda seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Olbo fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Maeda moves into range and lands a nice leg kick. Olbo closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Maeda to the mat! Maeda manages to get full guard. Olbo tries to free his leg and advance position but Maeda is retaining full guard. Let's see if Maeda can do anything to dispel that myth. Olbo wants to control from the top but Maeda keeps moving. Maeda trying to control the position here. Olbo connects with a couple of short punches. Maeda avoiding any damage from the ground and pound.

Olbo trying to control but Maeda is working from the bottom.

Dragon sprawls well initially but Rockobilitus persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Dragon is looking to control Rockobilitus's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Dragon avoid being mounted? Dragon is looking for a sweep. Rockobilitus is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Dragon trying to control but Rockobilitus postures up.

Rockobilitus swats away the attempt to clinch by Dragon. Dragon explodes with a nice body kick and back out of range. Nice work.

Dragon unloads a knee to the mid-section. Rockobilitus lets out a prehistoric sounding urrrrgh. Rockobilitus drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Dragon gets the underhooks and prevents it.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hoshi bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Hoshi fails with an attempt to clinch.
Nice defenses there by Hoshi. Hoshi uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Cruise. Cruise throws a hook but Hoshi avoids it easily. Hoshi doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body. Cruise swats away the attempt to clinch by Hoshi. Hoshi avoids a punch combination nicely.
Cruise connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Hoshi's hands.
It looks like Ichirai Hoshi has been cut. Hoshi ducks under a wild hook from Cruise. Cruise throws an overhand right that lands on Hoshi's shoulder, as Hoshi tries to avoid the shot. Cruise throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Hoshi clinches. Hoshi wants a takedown but no success here.

Still in the clinch, Cruise scores with a nice short uppercut. Cruise tries to break the clinch but Hoshi is controlling the position. Hoshi keeps control of Cruise as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. Cruise has had enough of the clinch but Hoshi keeps him there for the moment. Hoshi tries to pull guard but Cruise holds him up against the ropes and eventually Hoshi drops back down to his feet.

Hoshi really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Cruise trying to get back to his feet but Hoshi is in full control for now.

Cruise is really struggling to land any decent head shots against his taller opponent. Cruise shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Cruise swats away the attempt to clinch by Hoshi.
