That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Don Gazell.

I think Kirkham might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Hunt You Down. Both these guys have really solid chins. The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
N Awe moves into range and throws a big uppercut. OH! Furlong goes down! Can N Awe finish him!?

Furlong is rocked!

It looks like Joe Furlong has been cut.
Furlong wants to sweep here but N Awe controlling him for the moment.
Furlong is still in real trouble! Can N Awe finish him?
N Awe wants to stand but Furlong is controlling his posture from full guard.
Furlong throwing some rather feeble looking strikes off his back.
Furlong seems to have recovered his senses.
Furlong looking to hit a scissor sweep but N Awe is one step ahead there.
N Awe not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
N Awe would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.

Furlong escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. N Awe gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.

Furlong takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.

Furlong ducks straight into an uppercut from N Awe and tumbles to the canvas! It’s a flash knockdown though - Furlong maanges to regain guard straight away.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

N Awe stands and steps away. Furlong gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
N Awe darts in and lands a big hook, right on the button! Furlong's legs crumble underneath him as he falls to the canvas! The ref tackles N Awe before he gets to land any more shots to his stricken foe.
