The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A leg kick checked by Squirrel.
A chopping leg kick lands by Squirrel.
Squirrel ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Schmitt misses with a series of wild punches.
Squirrel slips a jab from Schmitt.
A punch lands to the side of Schmitt 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Schmitt fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Schmitt misses with the combination.
Schmitt is looking to land body kicks.
A jab from Schmitt misses.
Schmitt looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
An inside leg kick lands from Squirrel.
Squirrel throws a body punch but Schmitt moves out of range.
Squirrel throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Schmitt's head.
Schmitt tries for a takedown but Squirrel sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Jersey Squirrel has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Owen Schmitt.
Schmitt shoots in for a double leg but Squirrel sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.

Squirrel moves into range and lands a nice body kick.

Nice uppercut lands for Squirrel. That snapped Schmitt's head back.

Squirrel rushes Schmitt with punches - Schmitt moves straight backwards instead of circling and gets clipped by the second strike... and the third... and the fourth! Oh, Schmitt goes down! Squirrel follows up with more strikes and the ref steps in to end the bout!

II is working for the rear naked choke. He has one arm under the chin but Smith has hold of the other arm. A bit of a stalemate here.
II controlling the position well here. Smith rolled but II kept the hooks locked in and stayed in the dominant position.

Well II has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

Lupin shoots in for a double leg but Gilmore sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Gilmore tests Lupin's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Lupin throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Gilmore's waist but Gilmore gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Lupin off to one side.
No luck for Lupin with that takedown attempt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Muggle Lupin. That's going to take a lot out of him.
A punch lands to the side of Lupin 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Gilmore throws a couple of head shots and lands with the final one - a decent hook, which struck Lupin on the side of the head.
Gilmore moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.

It looks like Muggle Lupin has been cut.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Gilmore connects with a nice cross there... Lupin is looking wobbly and Gilmore recognises it - he's rushed in and lands two more brutal shots that send Lupin to the canvas, out cold! A brutal finish to the fight - Gilmore jumps onto the ropes to celebrate with the crowd!

Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts green, as that shot connected.
