4 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Rick Duthie! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Issac CyMike! The judges for this bout are Anthony Taglia, John Kavanagh and Jorge Garcia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! CyMike shoots in and bounces Duthie off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. CyMike drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Duthie manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now CyMike has Duthie in his guard. Duthie wants to get up but he can't break CyMike's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. Duthie postures up.
CyMike has his foot on Duthie's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Duthie works his way back into a safe position though. CyMike preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Duthie missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. CyMike is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Duthie working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of CyMike's head. CyMike tries to strike from the bottom.

Duthie smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button. Issac CyMike seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Duthie misses with a series of wild punches.
Duthie scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. CyMike doesn't seem bothered though. Duthie slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range. Duthie will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Gracie shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Burns as he jumps to the side. Gracie shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away. Burns stops Gracie from taking his back. Still, being mounted isn't any better. Gracie swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Burns is now in Gracie's guard. A big mistake from Gracie there, giving up the dominant position! Burns preventing the sweep.

Burns dodges the ground and pound from Gracie. Gracie is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Burns has escaped the position, nice work there. Burns pushes Gracie away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Gracie gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control. Gracie tries to land with some ground and pound but misses. Gracie has knee on belly and moves into mount. Gracie wants to finish this one by submission but Burns is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Gracie. Gracie is breathing heavily.

Gracie has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Burns defend it? Gracie steps over the head and cranks it - Burns is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Gracie!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Moore works over Armstrong's head and body with a nice combination.
It looks like Elvis Armstrong has been cut. Armstrong looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Moore throws a right and a left that both miss. Moore lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Armstrong uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Moore. Moore feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Armstrong sprawling to the canvas! Armstrong rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Moore finish him?!
Armstrong is rocked! Moore moves into range and throws a big uppercut. OH! Armstrong goes down! Can Moore finish him!? Armstrong is still in real trouble! Can Moore finish him? Moore wanted to stand there but Armstrong had control of the position. Armstrong seems to have recovered his senses. Moore stands up from guard. Let's bang! Moore keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Aaron Moore seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Armstrong is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Armstrong will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Moore throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Rogers tries to reverse the position but Murray maintains control. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Murray trying to control but Rogers is having none of it. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Rogers wants to control but Murray is keeping busy.

Murray is working away from the top position though. Murray prevents Rogers from improving his position. Murray looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding. Rogers is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground. Rogers blocks a jab.
