The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Guifre feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Guifre is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Bluth is on top in guard.

That was a close second round but I would say that Marc Guifre will probably get the nod.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Guifre is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Guifre is going olschool here, as he tries to force Bluth to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Bluth shrugs it off.
Bluth has given up his back - I don’t know if this is a deliberate ploy to try and escape or if he is just struggling down there.

Guifre is trying to stick to Bluth's back but Bluth is turning into Guifre. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Guifre's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Bluth.
Guifre manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Bluth manages to get himself to full guard.
Bluth can't keep his opponent in guard - Guifre advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.

Guifre works to advance to full mount. Bluth defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs.

Guifre is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Bluth can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.

Guifre looking to isolate an arm here. Bluth doesn't see it coming and as Guifre extends the arm, he's forced to tap out! Nice submission by Guifre!
